Operations Specialist

The Nature Conservancy

• The Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating a team which delivers administrative support to TNC staff located throughout Argentina and Chile. • Supervises the operations team in providing guidance to assure strong service delivery to BU teams and rapid advance on projects. • Interprets guidelines and analyzes information to achieve results, improve workflow, and solve problems. • Provides recommendations and targeted training related to the areas under management. • Provides support to all levels of staff on HR issues, working closely with the Regional HR Manager and HR team. • Works closely with all functional areas within the region like Legal and IT as well as maintaining relationships with external accountants and attorneys. • Manages confidential information and ERP systems utilized for the functional activity. • Supports the Director of Finance and Operations in adapting processes and implement recommended practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related experience or equivalent combination
  • Experience coordinating projects
  • Experience working across departments
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Strong organization skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Supervisory experience including setting objectives, managing performance, and conflict resolution
