Senior Technical Consultant – Oracle HCM Cloud Applications
Energy Workforce & Technology Council
• Consult clients on business goals, objectives, and needs relating to ERP • Implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications software • Provide needs assessment, installation, set-up, implementation, training, and consultation services • Design, build, and maintain Oracle Cloud HCM solutions across modules such as Core HR, Talent Management, Absence, Payroll, and Benefits • Develop and enhance HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher reports, and OTBI analytics • Configure business processes, workflows, and approvals using Oracle BPM and HCM configuration tools • Integrate Oracle HCM with third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) • Support data migration activities including HDL (HCM Data Loader), HSDL, and spreadsheet loaders • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes • Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Participate in quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, regression testing, and impact analysis • Ensure adherence to security, data privacy, and role-based access control standards • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and configuration guides
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, required or related work experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM modules and configuration
- Proficiency in HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, OTBI, and HDL
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud
- Solid understanding of HR business processes and data structures
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with PLSQL concepts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Oracle Cloud HCM certification(s)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery
- Background in HRIS or enterprise HR technology environments
- Knowledge of security design, role provisioning, and audit controls
