Syntax

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions • Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze financial processes, recommend improvements, and ensure effective integration with other modules • Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, drive process optimization, and guide teams through successful delivery • Support user training, post-go-live stabilization, compliance alignment, and help shape reporting and analytics capabilities in the cloud

• Lead integrated project planning across all workstreams — functional, data, technical, and change — ensuring sequencing, dependencies, and milestones are tightly managed. • Plan, schedule, and coordinate key workshops and activities in collaboration with solution architects, functional leads, data leads, and technical teams. • Maintain end‑to‑end visibility on scope, timeline, resources, and quality, proactively identifying risks and driving resolution. • Monitor project costs, profitability, and payment milestones, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely invoicing, and financial compliance. • Utilize SAP Cloud ALM, Smartsheet, and AI‑enabled automation tools to streamline reporting, governance, and performance tracking. • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer counterparts, providing clear guidance, managing expectations, and confidently saying 'no' when needed to protect project integrity and delivery success. • Support executive reporting, steering committee preparation, and alignment with Syntax’s internal governance standards. • Foster a collaborative, accountable delivery culture that balances quality, efficiency, and customer value.

• Drive software product ideas through the defined incubation process from concept to MVP. • Facilitate ideation workshops and help shape and refine new product ideas. • Challenge assumptions, problem statements, and early business cases. • Work closely with industry teams to understand business needs and translate them into product concepts and MVP requirements. • Coordinate with engineering leads during the realization of MVP solutions. • Act as the central interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams. • Collaborate continuously with Product Owners to ensure alignment with industry portfolios and product strategy. • Track incubation progress, including effort estimates, timelines, and reporting, ensuring development activities remain aligned with plans and resource expectations. • Prepare and execute the transition of mature products into the software product track. • Contribute to improving and optimizing the company’s product incubation and innovation processes.

• Advise our manufacturing clients on planning and production processes. • Design, implement, and roll out end-to-end processes and their technical solutions in SAP (Customizing). • Provide active support in presales activities for new projects, including solution presentations and effort estimations. • Maintain and enhance best-practice processes within Syntax’s internal S/4HANA demo landscape. • Contribute to the planning, design, implementation, testing, and training phases of complex transformation projects. • Drive our Manufacturing expertise forward and continuously develop our capabilities in this area. • Quickly assume project responsibility and help deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.

• Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing backend applications and services • Analyze existing codebases and implement functional and technical improvements • Develop and maintain backend components and APIs using Python and/or Node.js • Support integrations with SAP BTP and SAP-adjacent systems (APIs, services, extensions) • Apply secure coding practices and address vulnerabilities in existing applications • Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability • Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and production issues • Contribute to documentation, technical analysis, and knowledge transfer • Collaborate with SAP, infrastructure, and product teams in an international environment • Support gradual modernization and automation initiatives when applicable
