Job Description

Temporary HR Shared Services Specialist

Ascension Executive Recruitment

• Provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of benefit programs to associates, carriers and third-party administrators. • Administer benefit programs including new hire enrollments, life event changes, eligibility, deductions, and claim adjudication. • Update and/or correct associate benefit data in both internal and carrier information systems. • Coordinate annual enrollment activities for the organization, including the development of enrollment packages. • Manage associate data including auditing and consolidating elections, verifying associate eligibility, sending required files to third-party administrators for enrollment, providing confirmation statements to associates, and reconciling enrollments with carrier invoices. • Compile statistics used to evaluate benefits strategy effectiveness, process and maintain documentation, and enter ad-hoc payment requests for tuition reimbursement. • Communicate with associates to clarify the policy, eligibility criteria, and other program elements providing customer service to ensure achievement of Service Level Agreement objectives.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
  • 2+ years of HR or benefit call center experience
