Job Description

Senior Brand Marketing Manager

My Money Matters

Role Description We're hiring a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to own the full B2C customer journey, from the moment someone first hears about us to the moment they become an active member. This is a role for someone who gets as excited about a great campaign concept as they do about conversion rates. You'll build the brand experiences that make public sector workers stop and take notice while owning the channels and numbers that turn that attention into action. You will be the hands-on operator, owning every employee touchpoint and engaging hundreds of thousands of public sector workers. - B2C Journey Ownership: You own the B2C journey end-to-end. Every touchpoint, every channel, every result. - Brand Building: Develop campaigns with a strong creative idea at their core, turning real customer insights into compelling executions across the marketing mix. - Email Marketing: Own the email channel completely - planning, writing, and building campaigns that move people to act. - Channel Development: Use a test-and-learn approach to build out new channels, finding creative ways to engage members. - Become the resident expert on our products and audience, reporting back on what's resonating. A typical day might look like: - Writing and building next week’s email campaigns across a variety of subjects. - Testing a new channel, working cross-functionally to bring a campaign idea to life and tracking results. - Brainstorming and planning an upcoming brand campaign, finding the human truth that makes it stick. - Presenting last month's B2C numbers to the SLT and explaining what you are changing as a result. Qualifications - At least 4 years experience in marketing. - Demonstrable experience of owning and executing campaigns from end-to-end. Requirements - An outstanding writer: Ability to craft compelling messaging whether short or long form. - Brand-led: Strong design eye and good instinct for quality messaging and customer experience. - Generalist tendencies: Comfortable across the full marketing mix rather than specializing in a single channel. - Builder mentality: Enjoy creating from scratch and get energized by a blank slate. - High agency: A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments. - Autonomous: Self-direct well, manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders independently. - Collaborative: A natural influencer who works across departments without direct authority. - Numerate: Use data to drive decisions, able to interpret data and explain results. - AI-augmented: Use AI to think sharper and automate boring tasks. - A background in fintech or financial services is a nice to have. Benefits - Fully remote working, with the flexibility to work from where you perform best. - 25 days' annual leave, increasing with tenure, plus the option to purchase up to 5 additional days. - Your birthday off. - Collaborative team bonus for non-commission roles. - Pension with salary sacrifice contributions, AVC options, and pension contributions on bonus earnings. - Salary sacrifice schemes through Perkbox - car leasing, gym memberships, tech purchases. - Medical cashback scheme. - Enhanced parental leave. Recruitment Process - Stage 1 — People & Culture Call: A conversation about your experience, motivations, and cultural fit. - Stage 2 — Hiring Manager Interview: A 45-minute competency-based interview exploring your experience across brand building, B2C customer journeys, email marketing, campaign execution, and channel development. - Final Stage — Panel Interview & Practical Exercise: A collaborative final-stage interview with a relevant practical exercise.

Role Description The Brand Manager is one of the most important roles at GIGABRANDS. You sit at the intersection of client success, strategy, and team leadership — the primary face of the agency for your accounts, and the engine that keeps your Pod running at full speed. You'll own a portfolio of 15–20 Amazon brands, leading a dedicated Pod that includes: - Brand Manager (you) — Reports to Amazon Channel Manager & CEO - Account Manager — Reports to Brand Manager for account tasks - PPC Specialist — Reports to Brand Manager for account tasks - Graphic Designer — Reports to Brand Manager for account tasks You're not just executing, you're orchestrating. You protect the backend team's focus, anticipate client needs before they surface, and ensure every deliverable lands on time and on strategy. Think of yourself as a missile defense system: predictive, not reactive. You intercept issues before they reach the client and resolve problems before they become patterns. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, loves the craft of Amazon brand management, and takes genuine pride in building client relationships that last. Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience in brand management, account management, or eCommerce marketing - Hands-on Amazon experience — PPC, SEO, catalog management, and creative optimization (this is non-negotiable) - Proven track record managing multiple client relationships simultaneously and delivering measurable results - Strong leadership skills — comfortable directing cross-functional teams across different functions and time zones - Exceptional organizational skills with a systematic approach to task management, reporting, and follow-through - Excellent communicator — confident presenting to clients, writing clear strategic briefs, and running structured meetings - Experience with ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar project management platforms - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, client-facing environment with a growth mindset - Self-starter mentality — you bring solutions, not just problems Requirements - Own all client communication - every email, every Slack thread, every meeting. - Manage 10-15 Amazon brands with a relentless focus on growth, retention, and proactive communication. - Proactively develop and communicate account strategy — anticipate client needs and bring recommendations before they request them. - Review all reports, decks, and deliverables from your PPC Specialist and Account Manager before they reach the client. - Track and report on sales targets and growth KPIs every week. - Maintain 30/60/90 day goals for each account and drive progress with clarity and urgency. - Build relationships beyond performance metrics — know your clients' business goals, team dynamics, and stressors. - If a client goes silent, follow up. Call and text if needed. - Lead your Pod — Account Manager, PPC Specialist, and Graphic Designer — with clarity and accountability. - Delegate tasks in ClickUp with start date, end date, time estimate, and priority level clearly defined for every task. - Triage all incoming requests before routing to the team. - Conduct biweekly Pod-level check-ins to align on account health, priorities, and capacity. - Handle capacity planning for your entire Pod, not just your own workload. - Mentor and support Junior Brand Managers and Account Managers as the team grows. - Maintain immaculate ClickUp boards at all times. - Log every task — internal meetings, external meetings, recurring audits, ad hoc requests. - After every client meeting, convert all notes and action items into ClickUp tasks before EOD. - Schedule all recurring tasks in ClickUp at the start of each week. - Centralize all client data, strategy notes, and decisions in agreed tools. - Use the Eisenhower Matrix to distinguish urgent vs. important tasks and delegate accordingly. - Ensure all meeting recordings are captured via tl;dv. - Implement at least one process automation or workflow improvement per week. - Analyze new strategies, document results, and share learnings with your Pod. - Prepare for every meeting: review the deck, confirm all previous action items are addressed. - Run post-meeting follow-up: create all ClickUp tasks before EOD. - Participate in "husks" - GIGABRANDS' internal team-building and peer development sessions. - Attend and actively contribute to weekly upskilling classes. - Read and apply frameworks from Extreme Ownership and Own Your Day, Own Your Life. - Embrace expanded responsibilities as the company scales. Benefits - Real ownership — a meaningful client portfolio where your decisions directly drive growth. - Structured career path toward Brand Director and senior leadership roles. - Weekly upskilling sessions and internal husks to keep you growing every week. - A values-driven culture built on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Access to a leadership framework built around Extreme Ownership and high-performance habits. - Remote-first, full-time position aligned with US working hours. - Be part of a fast-growing agency making serious waves in the Amazon ecosystem.
