DevOps Engineer7 days ago
Full TimeRemoteMid LevelTeam 51-200Since 2018H1B No Sponsor

Role Description We are looking for a hands-on Dev Ops Engineer to build the operational backbone that lets our platform scale with confidence. This is a high-impact, ground-floor opportunity to shape how we monitor, deploy and run our services - putting in place the observability, automation and reliability that turn a fast-growing platform into a resilient one. There is genuine momentum and investment behind this work, and the freedom to make a visible difference quickly. - Own observability, CI/CD, and the day-to-day reliability of our cloud estate. - Make releases safe, repeatable and reversible. - Make the platform’s health visible in real time. - Build the automation that lets our engineers ship with confidence. - Be a key player in our migration off the legacy platform. - See the gaps, prioritise the ones that reduce risk fastest, and close them. Qualifications - Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering role, ideally in a fast-moving, cloud-native, product environment. - Strong hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tooling (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Cloud Monitoring/Logging, or similar). - Deep, practical CI/CD experience (e.g. GitHub Actions) and a track record of building reliable, automated, reversible deployment pipelines. - Solid Infrastructure as Code experience, especially Terraform. - Good working knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP); experience with Azure and/or AWS is welcome. - Experience with secrets management, and embedding security tooling (SAST, SCA, image scanning) into delivery pipelines. - Familiarity with incident management, on-call practices, runbooks, and backup/DR testing. - A pragmatic, bias-to-action mindset. - Awareness of operating within compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. - Great communication skills, with the ability to influence quality across a remote team. Requirements - Make the platform observable by building and owning monitoring and observability across the estate. - Define and own service-level objectives (SLOs) on our critical journeys. - Establish consistent, automated CI/CD pipelines across all repositories. - Bring our infrastructure under Terraform. - Stand up proper local, ephemeral and staging environments. - Implement cloud-native secrets management and secrets scanning. - Establish an incident process that works. - Validate that our backups actually restore, and that our RTOs and RPOs hold up. - Be a key contributor to the migration off the legacy Ruby on Rails platform. - Champion guardrails and automation. - Be an active, engaged member of the cross-functional agile team. Benefits - Remote working within the UK. - Home office budget: £200 annual budget to help set up and improve your home working space. - 25 days’ annual leave, increasing with tenure, plus the option to purchase up to 5 additional days each year. - Take your birthday off. - Collaborative team bonus scheme. - Access to our pension scheme. - Access salary sacrifice schemes through Perkbox. - Medical cashback scheme. - Enhanced parental leave. - Regular opportunities to connect as a team.

Full TimeRemoteMid LevelTeam 51-200Since 2018H1B No Sponsor

Role Description We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to make quality a first-class, automated part of how we build software. This is a high-impact opportunity to establish our test automation practice and own it end to end - building fast, reliable test suites with Playwright, embedding them into our pipelines, and giving every engineer the confidence to ship and the evidence that what they shipped works. - Own the automation framework. - Make tests part of every release. - Set the quality bar. - Protect the migration. - Test beyond the happy path. - Make quality visible. - Raise everyone’s game. - Work smart. - Build the standards. - Work as one team.
