Seasonal Copyeditor, Brand and Editorial
Sundance Institute
• Upholding the editorial integrity of the Sundance Institute by proofing and copyediting brand storytelling. • Editing, fact-checking, and proofreading copy across various channels. • Developing, drafting, and publishing original copy for Institute programs. • Writing clear and compelling copy that connects with varied audiences and drives action. • Collaborating with stakeholders to assess opportunities related to written content. • Generating original ideas for columns and editorial series. • Ensuring efficiency with the Content Management System (CMS). • Making updates and additions to house style guidelines as necessary. • Keeping informed on culture and positioning the Institute as an industry leader.
Job Requirements
- 2 years experience copywriting and editing content for print and online publications.
- In-depth knowledge of AP style and entertainment feature editing.
- A proven track record in creating effective email campaigns.
- Experience conducting interviews and writing profile-style pieces with high profile artists and talent.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a variety of people.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Experience working with a range of content management systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of HTML preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
