• Own and shape the end-to-end data strategy for China, Japan, South Korea, and India • Serve as the senior analytics partner to CJKI country leaders and regional marketing leads • Ensure the voice of CJKI users is embedded in Canva’s global product and growth strategy • Go beyond surface metrics to uncover structural drivers of growth and friction • Define best-in-class experimentation and measurement standards across the region • Oversee the evolution of trusted, scalable data products • Act as a force multiplier within the International Data team, mentoring Senior Data Scientists

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in data, growth, or product analytics
  • Demonstrated ownership of a major region, business line, or strategic domain
  • Operated as a trusted advisor to c-level stakeholders
  • Fluent in English and speak Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, or Korean
  • Define long-term measurement philosophies and success frameworks
  • Design and critique complex experimentation programs
  • Proactively identify ambiguous, undefined problems
  • Communicate complex ideas with clarity and conviction
  • Deep expertise in SQL and Python
  • Highly proficient in modern analytics stacks and experimentation platforms

Reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, this role serves as the primary authority for data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, data quality, and regulatory compliance related to HIPAA, PII, and PHI. - Establish, lead, and continuously mature Catalight’s enterprise data governance program, policies, standards, and operating model. - Define governance frameworks for data quality, metadata management, lineage, stewardship, access management, retention, and lifecycle management. - Develop governance roadmaps and maturity strategies aligned with Catalight’s analytics, AI/ML, and data democratization objectives. - Establish governance councils, stewardship programs, and cross-functional governance processes across business and technical teams. - Define and maintain enterprise standards for governed data usage across analytics and AI/ML workloads.
