Head of Investment Risk, Analytics

Future Group

• Leading investment risk analysis across whole-of-fund, strategy and portfolio levels. • Proactively partnering with our portfolio managers and investment team leadership to identify, assess and manage investment risks and opportunities. • Developing and enhancing investment risk frameworks, analytics and reporting. • Driving understanding of market, liquidity and sustainability-related risks. • Building a strong investment risk culture through thought leadership and trusted advice.

Job Requirements

  • Believes in Future Group’s mission and has a passion for moving Australia’s money out of fossil-fuels and into renewable energy.
  • Believes in using the power of money to build a sustainable and equitable world.
  • Demonstrates extensive experience in investment risk, portfolio risk, investment analytics or a related investment leadership role.
  • Deeply understands investment risk frameworks, portfolio construction and performance analysis.
  • Has experience working across multi-asset portfolios, including public and private markets.
  • Has strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills.
  • Is experienced in programming, data analytics and use of leading risk systems.
  • Experience with sustainability, climate or thematic investment risk analysis (nice-to-have).
  • CFA, CAIA, FRM, PRMIA or other relevant post graduate qualification (nice-to-have).
