Role Description Bentley Systems has the ideal opportunity for an Account Manager, who will develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business within existing accounts, as well as maintaining and developing relationships focused on the Energy industry. This role will work in conjunction with other Account Managers specifically dedicated to positioning Bentley’s solutions to Energy infrastructure owner operators across North America. Bentley’s Energy solutions are a complete portfolio of integrated software and services advancing digital transformation from preliminary design through to asset management. These tools leverage a connected data environment to support interoperability and information management across energy networks to drive efficiency, collaboration, and productivity. - Responsible for selling Bentley solutions enabling owner/operators to embrace the era of digital transformation. - Create effective business plans to expand use of Bentley’s portfolio within your assigned region. - Prospect for new business opportunities and drive sales through positive outcomes to exceed quota. - Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, VP’s and Directors within assigned and targeted accounts. - Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following sales process and managing all opportunities in CRM. - Promote Bentley’s value proposition to designers, engineers, contractors and owners. - Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies. - High level use and comfort utilizing social media and prospecting intelligence resources. - Negotiate sales and/or service agreements. - Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services. - Travel to user sites up to 50% of the time may be required. Qualifications - 5+ years’ proven experience in selling software solutions into the Engineering and utility infrastructure segments. - Knowledge of ECM solutions and BIM are required and ideally with a background in Energy. - Proficiency with company products portfolio at a business level. - Demonstrated ability to work on a team of technical, marketing and sales personnel. - Background in direct communication and account-based marketing approaches to generate pipeline. - A passion for hitting targets. - Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
