• Design, build, and maintain automated pipelines for market creation, monitoring, settlement, and dispute resolution using Python and Airflow. • Integrate sports data feeds (e.g., Sportradar, Genius Sports), government data APIs (BLS, Fed, ECB), and political event sources to power automated settlement workflows. • Build and maintain REST API integrations with internal exchange systems and third-party data providers. • Develop AI-assisted tooling for outcome verification, edge case detection, and settlement rule drafting—leveraging LLM APIs and prompt engineering where appropriate. • Manage cron jobs and scheduled tasks; monitor pipeline health and respond to failures in production. • Instrument observability: logging, alerting, and audit trails that meet CFTC regulatory standards. • Partner with ExOps team members to identify manual processes and systematically eliminate them. • Contribute to internal tooling documentation and code review practices.

Role Description The Associate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer performs manual testing, assists in automation testing, and helps maintain test cases in Qase. Under guidance from more experienced QA team members, this role executes test plans, documents results, logs defects, and learns to troubleshoot issues across Linux and Windows systems, while developing knowledge of the company’s software applications and integrated systems. QA Engineers must be comfortable shifting focus quickly to meet changing priorities and requirements and may also perform targeted QA in production environments to verify file changes or review configuration work prior to client delivery. This position requires attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. Most testing focuses on the company’s client‑facing web GUI, which integrates phone, video visitation, and other service management functions. The role also includes testing other internal and external GUIs, as well as standalone phone and video visitation. Out‑of‑cycle features and fixes may require rapid testing and deployment. Other duties may be assigned as determined by the needs of the business. - Execute predefined manual test cases for the client-facing web GUI, including integrated and standalone phone, video visitation, and TTY/VRS systems, while reviewing logs (Linux CLI: grep, tail, log parsing) and monitoring for errors. - Perform testing for standalone phone, video visitation, TTY/VRS, and other internal/external GUIs that may be deployed outside the standard monthly release cycle, with corresponding log and metrics review. - Maintain and update Qase test cases, execute test runs, and log new defects. - Contribute to test automation by running automated test suites and assisting in creating or maintaining Python/Playwright scripts, with log and metrics review during test execution. - Perform targeted QA checks in production environments, such as verifying file changes or reviewing configuration work before client delivery. - Other duties as assigned in support of quality assurance activities. Qualifications - Preferred Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or up to one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Entry level, including internships, industry-recognized QA bootcamps, or academic projects. • Partner with Data Operations and Governance to identify high-value opportunities for AI and automation across data delivery and data quality workflows. • Build small, self-contained, plug-and-play solutions — prompts, low-code workflows, scripts, and lightweight agents — that deliver incremental efficiency without standing up large models or heavy systems. • Translate governance rules, definitions, and taxonomies into prompt and automation logic that produces accurate, consistent output. • Prototype rapidly, measure operational impact, and iterate solutions based on real results and validator feedback. • Deploy solutions into production data operations and support adoption, monitoring, and handoff. • Recognize when a need exceeds what a contained solution can deliver, and serve as the conduit to larger-scale deployment by helping define clear, actionable requirements for engineering and platform teams. • Maintain prompt libraries, automation assets, and documentation with clear versioning. • Track solution performance against scale, efficiency, accuracy, and consistency targets and report on the gains realized. • Stay current on AI and automation techniques and responsible-AI practices, and share them across teams.
