Role Description We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and scale the outbound sales function at One Thing Marketing. This is not a lead-following role where prospects are handed to you. We are looking for someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, enjoys opening doors with decision-makers, and takes ownership of generating opportunities through cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach. - Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, cold email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach. - Identify and engage decision-makers within target companies. - Build and manage your own prospecting lists using available sales tools and research methods. - Generate qualified sales opportunities for the closing team. - Consistently maintain high outreach activity levels across multiple channels. - Book qualified meetings with prospective clients. - Ensure strong meeting attendance and show-up rates through effective follow-up and communication. - Qualify prospects based on established criteria before scheduling appointments. - Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and consistently work toward weekly and monthly meeting targets. - Coordinate effectively with closers to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities. - Develop, test, and refine objection-handling approaches based on real prospect conversations. - Confidently navigate gatekeepers and decision-makers. - Build rapport quickly and effectively communicate value propositions. - Continuously improve outreach messaging and conversion rates. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records. - Log call notes, outreach activities, lead statuses, and follow-up tasks. - Track pipeline progression and update opportunity stages consistently. - Ensure CRM cleanliness and reporting accuracy at all times. - Report daily and weekly outreach activity, meetings booked, and pipeline performance. - Monitor key sales metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. - Take ownership of personal performance and proactively communicate progress toward targets. - Operate independently without requiring constant supervision or micromanagement. Qualifications - Proven experience as an SDR, Appointment Setter, Business Development Representative, or Outbound Sales Representative. - Demonstrated success consistently achieving or exceeding outbound sales targets. - Experience executing true multi-channel outbound prospecting using cold calls, cold email, and LinkedIn simultaneously. - Strong objection-handling and prospecting skills. - Proven ability to book qualified meetings with decision-makers. - Experience maintaining CRM accuracy and managing sales pipelines. - Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage daily activity without close supervision. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to provide measurable performance metrics from previous roles, including meetings booked, show-up rates, conversion rates, call volume, or quota attainment. Requirements - Experience selling to U.S.-based clients. - Background in B2B sales, marketing services, or agency sales. - Experience working with home services businesses. - Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms. - Familiarity with auto-dialers such as CloudTalk, Aircall, or similar tools. - Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator. - Exposure to AI tools, SaaS sales, or software-related sales environments. - Experience working within a growing startup or early-stage sales organization.
