Role Description As a Senior Network Engineer within the DT Technik team, you will spearhead the introduction, integration, and lifecycle management of next-generation router platforms in Telekom's multi-tier mobile aggregation network. Your role will encompass the design, testing, and deployment of new routers and network software while ensuring seamless integration with existing management and monitoring systems. Working on cutting-edge projects such as ORAN, IPv6, SRv6, backhaul sharing, and streaming telemetry, you will drive network stability and support modernization initiatives starting in 2026. Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. - Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. - Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards. - Introduction and integration of new router platforms within the Telekom mobile aggregation network, ensuring robust design, configuration, and testing aligned with Telekom’s IT landscape, including event and performance management systems. - Collaborate on lifecycle management projects of the Telekom aggregation platform with a focus on network stability improvements and enhancements. - Implement and support network modernization efforts, contributing to extensions of current design and deployment of advanced technologies including ORAN, IPv6, SRv6, backhaul sharing, and streaming telemetry. - Develop and maintain Python scripts and automation frameworks to validate router configurations and related network management systems. - Support release planning and introduction activities to ensure reliable operation of critical network infrastructure. - Continuously identify process weaknesses, recommend and implement improvements following industry best practices and internal standards. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field with at least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in service provider networks. - Deep expertise in router configurations, Segment Routing (SR/SRv6), MPLS, ISIS, BGP, VPNs, QoS, and BFD. - Proficient with network management protocols such as SNMP, gRPC, Netconf/YANG, and streaming telemetry tools. - Strong programming skills in Python with proven experience in automation and test development, including CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Experience with integrating routers into existing network management and monitoring systems. - Solid background in network troubleshooting and performance optimization in large scale mobile networks. - Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus. - Professional networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalents are preferred. - Excellent analytical skills, quick learning capability, teamwork orientation in an international team, and clear communication abilities. - Proactive, open-minded attitude eager to contribute innovative ideas and improvements. Role Description Bowman has an opportunity for an Acoustical Engineer to join our team remotely. Provide extensive knowledge/expertise in environmental acoustics, sound measurement, and noise control services to support public and private clients. Conduct technical analyses, develop mitigation strategies, and deliver expert guidance in support of permitting, compliance, policy development, and community engagement for a wide range of projects.
