Apprentice Epic Revenue Cycle Analyst – Install
OCHIN, Inc.
• Assist with Epic Configuration: Support customization and configuration of Epic applications to meet organizational needs • Workflow Analysis: Observe and document clinical and administrative workflows to understand system requirements • Testing & Validation: Participate in testing new builds, upgrades, and patches to ensure accuracy and functionality • End-User Support: Help troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to experienced analysts • Training Support: Assist in creating user guides and training materials for member staff • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system changes, workflows, and troubleshooting steps • Collaboration: Work closely with experienced analysts and clinical teams to learn best practices in healthcare IT • Engage in training and development activities to build analytical and technical skills • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Completion of an OCHIN workforce training program or similar experience preferred
- Epic proficiency must be obtained within 60-90 days of employment
- Interest in data analysis, problem solving, and continuous learning
- Basic understanding of healthcare operations and EHR systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment
