Job Description

Infrastructure Asset Management Specialist

• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of infrastructure assets across the enterprise • Ensure asset records include required attributes such as ownership, classification, lifecycle status, and compliance information • Configure and oversee integrations, automated discovery tools, and data feeds to support accurate asset population • Monitor and validate automated asset ingestion processes to ensure data quality and consistency • Perform regular reconciliation activities across CMDB, procurement, finance, and related systems • Execute validation controls to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, gaps, and duplicate records • Manage asset lifecycle information including deployment, warranty tracking, refresh cycles, and end-of-life status • Support audit and compliance activities by producing accurate reports, documentation, and evidence • Ensure infrastructure asset data complies with internal governance standards and regulatory requirements • Deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics related to asset inventory, trends, risks, and operational exceptions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve asset management processes and operational efficiency

Job Requirements

  • Experience managing infrastructure asset repositories or CMDB platforms
  • Knowledge of infrastructure asset lifecycle management and governance practices
  • Experience with automated discovery tools, integrations, and data ingestion processes
  • Strong understanding of data reconciliation, validation, and data quality controls
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure environments, including hardware, software, and enterprise systems
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, and reporting activities
  • Ability to analyze asset data and provide operational insights and recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with ITSM or asset management tools is preferred.
