Binding Operations Associate – Transportation

• Review and process bind requests to ensure timely and accurate handling • Validate application data against carrier system entries and update information as needed • Bind coverage within carrier platforms in accordance with underwriting direction and carrier guidelines • Complete required filings and documentation as part of the binding process • Partner with underwriters, retail agents, and carrier representatives to facilitate binding activities • Respond to inquiries related to binding status, requirements, and discrepancies • Manage assigned bind request workload to meet service level expectations and turnaround times • Assist in onboarding and training new team members on binding workflows and systems
Job Requirements
- Experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or a related role
- Exposure to transportation insurance or the ability to quickly learn transportation-specific workflows
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality control
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage escalated or complex tasks
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and OneNote is helpful.
