Where the team fits in The SEO team is responsible for implementing the SEO strategy for each of REA Group's Australian brands. What the role is all about In this role you'll be working with stakeholders in different functions across marketing, product, design and technology to drive SEO excellence and performance in our products. Your focus will be on SEO performance & organic search growth opportunities. You will bring a strong competitive lens and be constantly looking for strategic and creative ways to grow SEO market share. Your goal will be to maximise the organic search audience opportunity, while also mitigating against SEO risks. You'll achieve this by consulting with product managers, designers and developers to ensure they build products that both Google and our consumers love! This is a senior role in the SEO team and you'll lead SEO problem solving initiatives as well as leading by example with team values, knowledge sharing, open communication and ensuring a healthy team culture. Who we're looking for We're looking for someone obsessed with SEO success who identifies and acts on opportunities to grow SEO market share. - Someone with a few runs on the board - 5+ years of SEO - Highly proficient with technical and enterprise SEO - recognised as an SEO expert. - A SEO problem solver who seeks out creative solutions. - Great communication and relationship building skills. - Prior experience with delivering the SEO strategy for Consumer products - Experience working across tribes to deliver successful SEO projects. - Passionate about SEO, loves sharing knowledge across the business and championing the value of SEO. - Ability to both take and manage risks - Can assess and mitigate SEO risks, also knows when to take risks to act on an opportunity. - Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders. - A senior team member who leads by example with team values, encourages open communication, and builds a healthy team culture. - Works autonomously and productively in a fast-paced agile environment.
