Training Specialist Location: Melbourne, VIC, Australia Overview: - Full-time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - HEW 8 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements - Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working Job Description: About You RMIT is seeking a Training Specialist for the Laboratory Management Project, the project is focused on implementing an RMIT-wide approach to managing specialist spaces (labs, workshops and studios) that will improve ways of working and safety and compliance, for staff and students. The Training Specialist role will be responsible for creating and delivering a flexible, fit for purpose, sustainable training approach. This role is for a large complex project with impacts on technology, process, and people (Staff and Student). The approach will need to identify the best learning approaches (face to face, digital, simulations, assessment, procedures, class based etc) that will enable online and in person inductions to specialist spaces and equipment competency training. As the Training Specialist, you will be responsible for the development of the materials, training delivery (in a train the trainer model), and working collaboratively with the Organisational Change Manger on the project. Your role in assessing stakeholder impacts, streamlining, and simplifying existing content, formulating the necessary approaches and delivering those activities will be critical to the success of the project. This role will suit a training professional experienced in delivering end-to-end design solutions, designed to drive adoption across dynamic technology projects with diverse stakeholders.
