• Monitor and manage unfulfillable inventory reports in Amazon Seller Central on a daily basis • Classify unfulfillable units by disposition type (customer damaged, defective, distributor damaged, carrier damaged, expired) • Coordinate removal orders or disposal requests in line with account strategy and client SOPs • Identify units eligible for regrade or return to sellable condition and coordinate repackaging workflows • Maintain accurate records of unfulfillable unit counts, trends, and resolution actions • Build and maintain dashboards or trackers to report unfulfillable inventory KPIs to account managers and clients • Identify lost and damaged inventory at Amazon fulfillment centers using Seller Central reports and the FBA inventory reconciliation tool • File and track claims with Amazon for units confirmed lost or damaged by FBA • Follow up on open claims through resolution and ensure reimbursements or replacements are received • Maintain a claims log with status, amounts, and outcomes • Reconcile shipped quantities against Amazon-received quantities for all inbound shipments • Identify and document short-receives, over-receives, and missing units • Submit research requests and claims for inbound discrepancies within Amazon's required timeframes • Coordinate with 3PL, prep centers, or direct suppliers to resolve carrier-side discrepancies • Monitor stranded inventory reports and identify root causes (listing suppressed, listing deleted, pricing errors, compliance holds) • Resolve listing-side issues in coordination with catalog or content teams to restore stranded units to active status • Escalate unresolvable strandeds to Amazon Seller Support or account management for removal or disposal decisions • Track stranded inventory aging and flag units approaching long-term storage fee thresholds • Audit reimbursement reports to identify unclaimed reimbursements for lost, damaged, or destroyed units • Cross-reference reimbursement data against removal orders, lost claims, and shipment records to find gaps • File manual reimbursement cases through Seller Central or via third-party audit tools as applicable • Track reimbursement recovery amounts on a per-ASIN and per-account basis and report monthly
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon FBA inventory operations (Seller Central or Vendor Central)
- Demonstrated experience with unfulfillable inventory workflows, removal orders, and disposition management
- Proficiency with Amazon's FBA inventory reports, reconciliation tools, and Seller Support case management
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills — ability to build and maintain reconciliation trackers and exception logs
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and SKUs simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
- Strong written communication skills in English — able to write clear Seller Support cases and internal status updates
- Preferred Experience using third-party reimbursement or audit tools (e.g., GETIDA, Helium 10, Seller Investigators)
- Familiarity with Amazon's reimbursement policies and claim windows for FBA lost, damaged, and inbound shipment claims
- Experience working with multiple seller accounts or in an agency/managed services environment
- Background in eCommerce operations, supply chain, or logistics
- Experience building SOPs or process documentation for inventory exception workflows
