• Own the “why” and the “what.” Translate user needs and business goals into a clearly-framed problem and a crisp definition of success, and then guide the team in owning the “how.” • Collaborate with other product leaders to define the metric that matters. Set the outcome you’re driving toward, instrument it, and measure success by user behavior change over features shipped. • Work lightweight. Use story maps, one-pagers, and just-enough framing to align the team. We favor working software over comprehensive documentation; you won’t get extra credit for writing exhaustive PRDs or hand-detailing acceptance criteria if it’s not actually used by developers and designers. • Partner directly with engineers and designers. Collaborate in real time, every day. • Push for experimentation and validation. Form hypotheses, design the smallest test that produces real learning, and adapt based on evidence. • Ship true MVPs. Know the difference between a real minimum viable test and a watered-down v1. Get something in front of users quickly, then improve. • Prioritize ruthlessly. Protect the team’s capacity for high-leverage work. Say no to good in service of great, and kill work that won’t deliver value (without ego or sunk-cost thinking). • Keep the user at the center. Stay close to real users, synthesize what you learn, and make sure every bet connects back to a user reaching a career milestone. • Use AI as a tool. Lean on AI thoughtfully to move faster and sharpen your thinking, but not as a replacement for talking to users or good judgment.
• Own and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for lead management and distribution, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities. • Translate business goals into product priorities, balancing long-term vision with iterative value delivery. • Drive Go-to-market decision making to ensure business goals from product releases are achieved. • Quantify and model opportunity sizes to inform investment decisions and sequencing. • Lead cross-functional planning and ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact initiatives. • Partner with leadership to define pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for your domain. • Leverage AI to accelerate product development workflows, including research, PRD development, prototyping, analysis, and experimentation. • Maintain a deep understanding of both lead buyers and sellers, speaking regularly with customers to uncover pain points and opportunities. • Translate customer insights into actionable strategies and feature development. • Stay informed on competitor trends, compliance regulations, and technology advancements influencing the lead ecosystem. • Ensure the voice of the customer is central to product decisions and trade-offs. • Build customer feedback loops, including a customer advisory board, to continuously validate product direction. • Define and own the core business metrics for your product area, including lead volume, quality, conversion, yield, and ROI. • Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure success. • Collaborate with analytics teams to establish clear KPI tracking and visibility for leadership. • Incorporate experimentation and testing frameworks to evaluate product improvements and GTM effectiveness. • Drive high-quality, predictable delivery in partnership with engineering and design. • Lead scoping sessions and manage prioritization across multiple stakeholders and dependencies. • Ensure new capabilities are launched with clear success criteria, tracking, and operational readiness. • Partner with Product Marketing and Client Success to plan GTM launches and customer onboarding that deliver measurable business impact. • Maintain accountability for results and continuous improvement after release. • Work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, client success, sales, and finance to achieve shared goals. • Act as the central point of contact for your product area, ensuring clear communication of priorities, progress, and outcomes. • Foster alignment and transparency across teams; proactively surface risks and trade-offs. • Represent your product domain in company-wide planning, portfolio reviews, and leadership updates. • Demonstrate full ownership from problem identification through solution delivery and adoption. • Mentor and support Associate PMs or peers in discovery, prioritization, and customer engagement. • Model urgency, accountability, and customer obsession consistent with company values. • Contribute to a culture where team members feel engaged, challenged, and recognized for delivering impact.
