The selected person would join the European Analytics team based in Madrid. The role of the Analytics department is to provide the rest of the company with the data, charts and intelligence that the team requires to excel in their roles. You will sit at the intersection of quantitative market analysis, regulatory intelligence, and commercial insight — supporting the development of LevelTen's proprietary analytics, data products and market indices for European renewable energy transactions. You will have genuine analytical ownership. LevelTen sits on one of the most comprehensive PPA transaction datasets in Europe, and this role offers a rare opportunity to do market-moving research at the frontier of the energy transition. Duties and Responsibilities - Analytics - Build and maintain python models for specific offline analytics, as per business & industry needs. - Build and maintain data visualization dashboards, using OMNI - Understand the energy industry evolution to help Product evolve the suite of products from LevelTen. - Data Management - Run Quality checks on inputs to our database (mostly, bids to published RfPs) - Manage datasets gathered from the platform and other sources (including public sources such as ENTSOe) to convert it to inputs for reports - Transition legacy data from tools such as Tableau to the OMNI platform. - Understand the energy industry evolution to help fine-tune data input - Reporting - Build reports (Market Transparency Reports and others) from gathered data. - Feed the team with relevant charts and data prior to the different public activities. - Contribute to client-facing research and presentations as per company requirements. - Represent LevelTen's analytical perspective at industry events, working groups, and in engagement with market participants and regulators. Required Qualifications - The position will be open for junior and senior candidates, adapting the offer to the proven value of the candidate. - Generally, a minimum of 2 years of working experience, ideally in energy markets, market analysis, economic consulting, or a related quantitative field. - Preferred background is engineering, but open to other backgrounds as long as they have developed data management capabilities. - Proficiency in quantitative analysis tools (Python, R, or equivalent); comfort with large datasets and statistical modeling - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Preferred Qualifications - Understanding of the European power market fundamentals is much valued. - Experience with SQL, tableau, BigQuery, and BI tools. Knowledge of OMNI. - Familiarity with energy storage economics and revenue stacking frameworks. - Experience with hedonic regression or econometric modeling in commodities or energy. - Knowledge of additional European languages and/or power markets. - Prior exposure to PPA origination, trading, or advisory environments. - Experience in public speaking. Role Description The MVC Data Analyst will gather and analyze data related to Managed Vision Care from multiple sources to provide the organization with better insights. Support cross functional efforts with other teams including Finance, Loss Prevention and Store Operations. - Retrieve and gather Managed Vision Care related data from multiple systems and be able to analyze, organize, and present it in a way that is useful to the end user. - Produce and distribute reports, dashboards, charts and graphs related to MVC sales and collections. - Produce ad hoc reporting on managed vision care related data as requested by Management. - Generate impact analysis of price changes, fee schedule changes, product introduction and/or discontinued products. - Run and analyze transactional data related to potential fraud, waste or abuse as requested by Loss Prevention. - Use data available to find trends and insights in billing and collections efforts; make recommendations to MVC POS and Billing Managers on possible corrections/solutions. - Collaborate across other departmental projects that require managed vision care data expertise. - Participate in Accounting & Finance month end close or other finance-related projects assigned by management. - Serve as a backup to leading, guiding and training Billing Operations Team Leads and Associates.
