Role Description The MVC Data Analyst will gather and analyze data related to Managed Vision Care from multiple sources to provide the organization with better insights. Support cross functional efforts with other teams including Finance, Loss Prevention and Store Operations. - Retrieve and gather Managed Vision Care related data from multiple systems and be able to analyze, organize, and present it in a way that is useful to the end user. - Produce and distribute reports, dashboards, charts and graphs related to MVC sales and collections. - Produce ad hoc reporting on managed vision care related data as requested by Management. - Generate impact analysis of price changes, fee schedule changes, product introduction and/or discontinued products. - Run and analyze transactional data related to potential fraud, waste or abuse as requested by Loss Prevention. - Use data available to find trends and insights in billing and collections efforts; make recommendations to MVC POS and Billing Managers on possible corrections/solutions. - Collaborate across other departmental projects that require managed vision care data expertise. - Participate in Accounting & Finance month end close or other finance-related projects assigned by management. - Serve as a backup to leading, guiding and training Billing Operations Team Leads and Associates. Qualifications - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. - Associate degree preferred. - One to three (3) years of experience in billing, medical insurance claim processing. - Working knowledge of POS, claim systems and data warehouses. - Proficient in MS Excel and Word. - Experience with business analytic tools such as Microsoft Power BI. - Ability to communicate and resolve issues effectively with others. - Ability to establish a good working relationship with all levels of staff. - Ability to effectively communicate and promote both verbally and in writing. - Well-developed communication skills to gain the trust and cooperation of others. - Ability to gather, analyze, interpret and present data in clear and concise reports and make recommendations. - Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Highly organized and detail oriented. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst (with a strong background in Analytics Engineering principles) to join our growing Performance Management team.
