Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. HR Technology Analyst to lead the configuration, optimization, and continuous improvement of Workday Compensation and Performance (Talent Management) capabilities. This role serves as a subject matter expert across Workday HCM, driving scalable solutions that enhance compensation planning, performance management, and employee experience. This position also plays a key role in advancing AI-enabled automation, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Power Automate to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen HR technology operations. Duties and Responsibilities - Workday Compensation & Performance Leadership - Serve as primary owner for Workday Compensation and Performance (Talent Management) configuration, enhancements, and optimization. - Design and support annual compensation cycles, merit planning, bonus processes, and performance review frameworks. - Partner with Total Rewards and HR leadership to align system capabilities with compensation and performance strategies. - Configure business processes, eligibility rules, and approval workflows for compensation and talent programs. - AI Automation & Process Optimization - Identify and implement AI-enabled and workflow automation opportunities to streamline HR technology operations. - Leverage tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and AI assistants for documentation, testing, reporting, and case triage. - Develop repeatable solutions that reduce manual effort and improve knowledge management and service delivery. - Promote responsible, secure, and scalable adoption of AI across HR processes. - Workday Configuration & HRIS Delivery - Configure and maintain Workday modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence). - Lead requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and deployment. - Support Workday releases, enhancements, and regression testing cycles. - Maintain system integrity and ensure optimal performance across HR technology solutions. - Reporting, Analytics & Insights - Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics (Advanced, Matrix, Composite). - Deliver insights supporting compensation, performance, compliance, and HR metrics. - Utilize reporting tools (Workday, BIRT, People Analytics) to support data-driven decisions. - Data Governance, Security & Compliance - Ensure data integrity through audits, validation processes, and governance controls. - Maintain HRIS security roles, access controls, and audit processes. - Partner with Legal and global stakeholders to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). - Validate appropriate data access and document business justification for HR data distribution. - Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement - Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to improve Workday processes and user experience. - Provide subject matter expertise, training, and end-user support. - Lead or support HRIS projects, system enhancements, and integrations. - Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge development. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Work Experience: - 8+ years of HRIS experience supporting enterprise HR systems. - 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, with strong emphasis on Compensation and Performance/Talent. - Proven experience managing Workday configuration, testing, and releases. - Experience supporting compensation cycles and performance management processes. - Experience with reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights. - Demonstrated experience implementing automation and AI-enabled solutions. - Core Competencies: - Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. - Knowledge of global HR data privacy standards. - Technical Skills: - Priority Skills (Core to Role): - Advanced Workday Compensation and Performance (Talent Management) configuration expertise. - Strong Workday reporting and dashboard development (Calculated Fields, Advanced Reporting). - Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools (Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Claude or similar). - Ability to design and maintain automated workflows, AI-assisted processes, and scalable solutions. - Additional Skills: - Workday HCM configuration across modules (Core, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence). - Experience with reporting platforms (BIRT, People Analytics). - Knowledge of integrations, security, and data governance principles. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery. Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.
