Role Description We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead demand generation, channel marketing, marketing operations, events, public relations, and brand initiatives that drive pipeline growth and revenue across both direct and indirect sales channels. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that accelerate customer acquisition, increase partner engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and support Sangoma's continued growth. Your Role: Demand Generation & Growth Marketing - Develop and execute integrated marketing programs across digital advertising, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, website optimization, webinars, events, and marketing automation. - Drive qualified lead generation, pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue performance. - Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales leadership to optimize lead management, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness. Channel Partner Marketing & Growth - Develop and execute marketing strategies that support partner recruitment, activation, engagement, and revenue growth. - Drive partner-generated pipeline through VARs, MSPs, distributors, technology alliances, referral partners, and master agent/TSD ecosystems. - Lead co-branded campaigns, joint go-to-market initiatives, partner enablement programs, MDF activities, and channel marketing efforts that increase partner productivity and market reach. Marketing Operations & Analytics - Oversee marketing technology platforms, campaign execution, attribution, reporting, and performance measurement. - Define, monitor, and report on key marketing and pipeline metrics. - Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing investments and maximize ROI. Brand, PR & Communications - Lead public relations, analyst relations, thought leadership, media outreach, and corporate communications initiatives. - Strengthen Sangoma's brand presence and market positioning across key industries and customer segments. - Ensure consistent messaging and brand execution across all marketing channels. Events & Customer Engagement - Lead strategy and execution for trade shows, partner conferences, webinars, customer events, and industry sponsorships. - Partner with Customer Success and Sales teams to develop programs that support customer retention, adoption, expansion, and advocacy. Leadership & Collaboration - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Channel Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to align go-to-market strategies and business objectives. - Manage agency and vendor relationships while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications - 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including leadership experience managing marketing teams. - Proven success building and executing demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline growth and revenue. - Experience in SaaS, cloud communications, telecommunications, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, MSP, or related technology industries. - Strong understanding of channel and partner marketing, including experience supporting VARs, MSPs, distributors, master agents, TSDs, technology alliances, referral partners, and reseller ecosystems. - Demonstrated success developing partner marketing programs, co-branded campaigns, joint go-to-market initiatives, partner enablement strategies, and MDF programs. - Expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, website optimization, marketing operations, lead management, and marketing analytics. - Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring performance through attribution, funnel metrics, and ROI analysis. - Hands-on experience with marketing and sales technologies such as HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Jira, and related marketing automation and CRM platforms. - Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and leadership skills. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Executive teams. Preferred Qualifications - Experience marketing Unified Communications, Contact Center, Voice, Telecommunications, Cloud Communications, AI-powered business applications, or related technology solutions. - Experience supporting both direct sales and channel-led go-to-market models. - Experience with partner recruitment, MDF management, channel enablement, and partner-generated pipeline programs. - Experience leading public relations, analyst relations, and corporate communications initiatives. - Experience managing trade shows, partner conferences, customer events, and large-scale marketing programs.
