JOB SUMMARY: - Reporting to the Connectivity Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to drive the sales of connected solutions within your region (Between Bristol and Gloucester) to attain targets and provide an enhanced level of technical and professional expertise to customers in the area of connected vitals, continuous monitoring, Cardiology (ECG, Stress and Holter), Smart Bed integration and hospital communications platforms. - You will partner with field sales, sales leadership, marketing & Engineering team to increase the sale of software and devices. - This position will serve as the field expert in the area of connected devices and workflows, communicating effectively with customers regarding IT issues and various workflow environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Serve as the lead field resource in the area of connected devices, network installations and EPR connectivity options across all Hillrom UK. - Interact at a high level in terms of technical capabilities with both end-user customers, EPR partners (Epic, Cerner etc.) and distributors. - Drive and achieve top line sales in connectivity solutions and contribute to the success of the overall business within a specific geography. - Support other regions where necessary to provide specialist connectivity support to both customers and the Hillrom Sales team. - Interact with hospitals, Primary Care Practices and our distributor network, functioning well within a team selling environment. - Focus on current PC based cardiology solutions in large projects and formulate connected strategies for future Vitals monitoring. - Lead high-level meetings or communications with IT professionals or Clinical experts to understand networking, connectivity or workflow requirements. - Serve as the IT, Connectivity and workflow expert for the Business Development and Regional Sales Managers. - Manage any allocated connectivity project post-sale, ensuring solution delivery and execution to customer satisfaction. - Work closely with the Service organization to ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood. - Interact with our Connectivity Engineering Team, EPR and distributor partners to ensure improvements are realized. - Support future developments in Smart Bed and Communication technology platforms. Qualifications - Minimum of five years successful selling experience with complex selling processes and connectivity solutions. - Previous experience working with IT professionals as well as knowledge of networks and EPR data transfer. - Proven track record of sale and implementation of device integration. Role Description The Commercial Contract Lead is responsible for spearheading the completion of redlines for bids, documents, quotes, and agreements for the Care Communication team by collaborating with various Commercial Excellence, Risk Management, and Legal teams. This role provides strategic support to the Commercial Sales and Sales Operations team and works collaboratively with various other functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, contracting, risk management, and Corporate Legal teams. - Lead negotiation, review, and execution of commercial contracts, serving as the primary liaison between customers, contractors, and internal partners. - Partner with Legal, Sales, Finance, Risk Management, and Commercial teams to resolve contract issues and drive successful business outcomes. - Manage the contract lifecycle from drafting and redlining through execution while balancing business objectives and risk considerations. - Accelerate the quote-to-cash process through proactive contract management, stakeholder communication, and customer engagement. - Provide guidance on contract requirements, including insurance, bonding, credit, and risk-related provisions. - Support operational excellence through process improvements, documentation management, reporting, and special projects. - Manage commercial operations activities, including account setup, RFQ administration, tracking, and coordination to support sales and contracting processes. - Monitor key initiatives, deliverables, and service levels while maintaining dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to support business performance. - Maintain documentation and SharePoint resources and contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects that improve operational efficiency. Qualifications - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. - History of working independently with little direction. - Proven record of leading multiple projects simultaneously and within timelines. - Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. - Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - 4 years of contract experience required. - Healthcare or healthcare construction experience is a plus. - Experience with software commercial agreements is a plus. - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Your role at Baxter As the Manager, Treasury – Foreign Exchange, you will play a key role within Baxter’s Treasury organization as part of the Capital Markets team.
