Key Account Manager – Digital Solutions, Industrial Environment

FINDIQ

• You manage key accounts strategically and operationally and develop these relationships for the long term. • You analyze customer structures, identify development potentials, and work with your contacts to develop concrete measures to improve and expand collaboration. • You actively identify new business opportunities within existing customers and win selected new customers for findIQ. • You support our Sales Managers as a sparring partner on complex sales projects and contribute your experience to customer meetings and strategic sales initiatives. • You organize and conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations, ensuring that customers understand the value of our solutions and can successfully leverage them. • You ensure the successful rollout of our solutions at customer sites and coordinate internal and external project stakeholders in a targeted manner. • You actively monitor market developments, recognize relevant challenges early, and position findIQ as a strategic partner with appropriate solutions. • You contribute entrepreneurial insight to the further development of our customer strategy and actively help shape processes and structures in the Customer Success area. • If suitable and interested, there is the possibility to take on leadership responsibility in the medium term and help build your own team.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Account Management, or technical sales, preferably in the mechanical engineering industry or a comparable industrial environment.
  • Experience both in building and developing existing customer relationships and in acquiring new customers.
  • Experience in project management, particularly in managing complex customer projects.
  • Ideally, experience in an international context.
  • Experience working with digital solutions, preferably in an industrial or technical environment.
  • Strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in machinery and equipment.
  • Enjoyment in actively expanding customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and convincing customers of innovative solutions.
  • A pronounced hands-on mentality and the willingness to take responsibility and drive topics forward independently.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customers at home and abroad (approx. 20% travel activity).
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
  • High customer orientation, confident presence, and a good sense for different interlocutors.
  • Independent, structured working style and strong execution skills.
  • High initiative, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to recognize and consistently pursue opportunities.
  • Team spirit, reliability, and the ability to set clear priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • The desire to take on responsibility and actively contribute to shaping a growing company.
