Job Description

Accounts Receivable Associate

SpecterOps

• Generate and deliver customer invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and alignment with contract terms. • Monitor accounts receivable aging and perform proactive outreach to customers regarding outstanding balances. • Apply customer payments daily, ensuring accurate matching and resolving discrepancies. • Communicate with customers to resolve basic billing questions or route issues to appropriate internal teams. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales and Legal to ensure billing accuracy and seamless customer experience. • Support monthly close activities by preparing AR schedules, reconciliations, and journal entries. • Prepare documentation to support audits, compliance reviews, and financial reporting. • Participate in ad hoc projects to enhance AR processes, automation, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, desired.
  • 1–3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.
  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with accounting/ERP systems. NetSuite and Salesforce strongly desired.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical/problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in customer‑facing contexts.
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a fast‑paced environment.
