• Represent SpecterOps at industry conferences, webinars, meetups, and virtual events. And serve as a public-facing advocate for SpecterOps across online and offline communities, helping build awareness, trust, and engagement within the cybersecurity community. • Engage with the cybersecurity community through social media, forums, and online groups to promote best practices and thought leadership. • Manage and execute Community event sponsorships, with primary focus on the North America region. • Develop high-quality, technical content such as blogs, whitepapers, tutorials, and videos to educate users about BloodHound Community Edition, BloodHound Enterprise, other SpecterOps’ open-source tools and related security topics. • Create and deliver compelling presentations and workshops on attack path management, identity security, and other key areas of expertise. • Partner closely with the Community Manager to develop and execute community growth initiatives, ambassador programs, educator programs, content creator programs, and community engagement campaigns. • Stay current with trends and developments in cybersecurity to serve as a trusted expert. • Contribute to SpecterOps’ position as a leader in attack path management and enterprise security by sharing innovative ideas and solutions. • Uncover new use cases for our existing tools and potential new opportunities for us to develop solutions for existing customers and community members. • Serve as a technical expert on the marketing team and help inform other demand gen programs, product marketing campaigns and other initiatives as needed.
• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based web properties, including custom themes and plugins • Build and update landing pages, campaign pages, and site sections in close collaboration with Marketing and Design • Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) • Optimize site performance including page speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO best practices • Manage WordPress configuration, plugin updates, and security hardening • Integrate third-party tools and APIs including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues in a timely manner • Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow established development standards • Support QA and testing processes to ensure consistent, high-quality releases • Collaborate asynchronously with a remote-first team across Marketing, Design, and Operations
• Create social media content for review and approval across active channels (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, and Instagram) • Maintain the social media content calendar • Schedule and publish content using Sprout Social • Repurpose existing content including blog posts, event promotions, webinars, research, and thought leadership into platform-appropriate social posts • Use AI tools to scale content production while maintaining brand voice and quality standards • Develop, refine, and maintain prompt libraries and AI workflows for repeatable social content generation • Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and relevant conversations • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and platform best practices • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather content inputs and supporting assets • Stay informed on platform updates, emerging social media trends, and evolving AI capabilities relevant to content creation
• Write and iterate on email copy across nurture sequences, promotional campaigns, product announcements, and event-driven sends • Write ad copy for paid social, display, and search campaigns across the buyer journey • Build and refine AI agents and prompt-based workflows for email and ad copy generation that produce brand-consistent, audience-appropriate output at scale • Document SpecterOps brand voice, messaging frameworks, and copywriting standards in formats usable for AI system training and prompting • Review, edit, and quality-control AI-generated copy against brand, tone, and accuracy standards • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Design to align copy with campaign objectives and creative direction • Monitor copy performance data and feed insights back into both human and AI-generated content iterations • Transition an increasing portion of email and ad production to AI-assisted workflows over time, shifting personal focus toward long-form content including reports, whitepapers, and web pages
• Support product roadmap execution by helping translate company goals, customer needs, and team input into clear priorities and deliverables. • Partner with Product Managers and engineering teams to coordinate feature development, follow-ups, and release readiness. • Gather and synthesize customer, sales, support, and market feedback to help inform product decisions and identify opportunities for improvement. • Assist with product messaging, internal enablement materials, and go-to-market preparation alongside marketing, sales, and customer success teams. • Write and maintain research documentation, product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other supporting documentation.
Role Description SpecterOps is searching for a Senior UX Designer to support the BloodHound Enterprise team. BloodHound Enterprise is a defensive Attack Path Management solution for Active Directory based on the enormously popular BloodHound open-source software. The Senior UX Designer will work closely with product management, engineering, and security experts to translate complex workflows and data insights into user-centered designs that enhance usability, accessibility, and product value. The Senior UX Designer is an individual contributor role with broad influence over design direction, UX strategy, and the evolution of the design system. Salary Range: base salary annually, commensurate with experience - Senior UX Designer: $140,000 - $170,000 Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S. with travel quarterly for in-person company events, conferences, and other ad hoc meetings. Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas. Responsibilities - Translate complex cybersecurity and data visualization concepts into intuitive, accessible user experiences. - Organize information and navigation to support clarity and scalability in data-heavy interfaces. - Design dashboard and report screens to support clarity and prioritization. - Develop and maintain high-quality, low & high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and UX documentation. - Contribute to UX research and testing to validate assumptions and refine design decisions based on user feedback. - Present and communicate design concepts and rationale to peers, leadership, and stakeholders with clarity and confidence. - Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to uphold design standards. - Support the evolution of SpecterOps’ design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all product surfaces. - Stay informed about industry trends, emerging UX technologies, and design tools to continuously improve our design processes and outcomes. Qualifications - 6+ years of professional UX design experience, with a focus on enterprise or complex web applications. - Proven ability to design data-dense, technical, or security-related products. - Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq). - Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction design principles. - Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data-driven design iteration. - Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile development environments. - Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for clean, balanced visual design. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Nice to haves - Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field preferred. - Experience contributing to or managing design systems a plus. - Familiarity with cybersecurity, IT administration, or related technical domains preferred. • Partner with the VP of Marketing and the CMO to define and execute a cohesive visual brand identity and creative strategy that reflects SpecterOps’ positioning in the cybersecurity market • Establish and maintain brand and style guidelines, ensuring consistency across all internal and external touchpoints, including web, digital, print, event, and social • Develop and govern a scalable design system that enables the creative team to produce high-quality, on-brand work efficiently as the organization grows • Oversee the creative development of assets across the full marketing mix, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with SpecterOps’ brand voice and business objectives • Serve as the internal creative authority, providing direction and feedback across campaigns, product launches, and content programs • Lead the creative direction for SpecterOps’ web presence, collaborating with stakeholders and web developers to ensure the site reflects current brand standards and delivers a strong user experience • Direct the design and execution of key digital assets including website pages, landing pages, social media graphics, digital advertisements, and email templates • Work closely with the product UI/UX team to ensure seamless brand integration across digital platforms and product interfaces • Collaborate with content, product marketing, and subject matter experts across the organization to develop high-impact visual storytelling for reports, research, and thought leadership • Develop high-quality creative materials for executive speaking engagements, investor presentations, and corporate events in close partnership with senior leadership • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, freelancers, and production vendors to extend creative capacity and maintain high standards of execution • Integrate AI-powered tools into creative workflows.
