• Build and manage UAT test plans based on implementation scope, requirements, configuration, and business workflows. • Translate business requirements into clear test scenarios and expected outcomes. • Interact with our customers on their UAT testing needs. • Lead offshore QA resources by assigning daily priorities, reviewing execution, and validating test evidence. • Validate end-to-end implementation workflows, integrations, configuration, permissions, client-specific scenarios, and data setup. • Manage defect intake, triage, prioritization, retesting, and closure. • Communicate UAT status, open risks, blockers, and go-live readiness to project leadership. • Support production validation, post-release smoke testing, and lessons learned after implementation.

Role Description The CJIS Application Tester will be responsible for system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of system requirements for the Connecticut Information Sharing System and other CJIS-managed applications. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise-level system integration, API testing, automation framework development, and data validation. The tester will work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with CJIS standards.
