• Drive our quality strategy and practices as an embedded member of our development teams. • Design test plans and test cases based on project documentation and hands-on field investigations. • Test games and software with the player’s perspective in mind at all times. • Help guide the development team toward meeting our quality criteria in a collaborative manner. • Develop strategies with engineers to integrate quality at the core of our development practices. • Highlight risks and communicate clearly with the team about the product’s quality status. • Contribute ideas and innovative solutions to the game. • Participate in team processes and culture, helping evolve best practices for planning, testing, code review, documentation, and communication.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise: A strong track record as a QA analyst or tester, demonstrating a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- In-studio integration: Significant experience working directly within internal game development teams, closely collaborating with engineers, artists, and designers.
- Live Ops: Direct experience addressing the unique challenges of a live service game environment, including rapid deployment cycles and real-time feedback loops with players.
- Effective communication: Ability to translate complex technical or systemic concepts into clear, actionable documentation and verbal briefings for diverse audiences.
- Mission-driven: A deep commitment to the craft of game development and strong motivation to deliver high-quality, player-focused experiences.
- Strong product empathy: A keen, up-to-date understanding of game industry trends and player expectations through active engagement with the space.

Role Description The CJIS Application Tester will be responsible for system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of system requirements for the Connecticut Information Sharing System and other CJIS-managed applications. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise-level system integration, API testing, automation framework development, and data validation. The tester will work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with CJIS standards. • The Penetration Tester reports to the Sr. Manager of Network and Strategic Penetration Testing • Responsible for the execution and coordination of ethical hacking to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement • Assists in delivery of security testing projects according to a structured process, including writing test reports • Assists with the execution of highly technical/analytical security assessments of Active Directory environments, network infrastructure, cloud environments, and AI technologies • Advises on secure development practices • Provides technical leadership to business areas as a Security Testing subject matter expert • Identifies security gaps and deficiencies by conducting risk assessments • Assists in the execution of planning, testing, tracking, and advises on necessary risk acceptance for identified security risks • Works with management and peers to foster the development of less experienced Security Testing Consultants
