Role Description Part of the Supply Chain Team, you are the driving force that coordinates the end-to-end flow of materials, information, and resources, from suppliers to customers. This role encompasses demand forecasting, procurement, production planning, and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles, exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The Trade Compliance Post Entry Specialist is responsible for managing, reviewing, and resolving U.S. Customs post entry processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting internal stakeholders with import-related matters. This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. Customs laws, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, free trade agreements, and regulatory compliance. The Specialist will collaborate with Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate resolution of entry discrepancies. This position is fully remote and will operate during standard EST business hours. - Conduct audits of US & CA import entries to identify errors, discrepancies, or potential compliance risks. - Ensure accurate HTS classification, valuation, country of origin determination, and use of trade programs. - Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with CBP & CBSA and company requirements. - Collaborate with Customs Brokers and internal logistics/procurement teams to resolve entry issues. - Monitor and track all open post entry process improvements to ensure timely resolution. - Review, process and audit entries for duty drawback in compliance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) requirements and Canada Border Services Agency. - Review and process post entry corrections, protests, in compliance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) requirements and Canada Border Services Agency. - Stay current on trade regulations, CBP rulings, and industry best practices. - Support broader cross-functional trade compliance initiatives including training, process improvements, and risk assessments. Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, or import operations - Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field - Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, valuation, and Free Trade Agreements - Experience with post entry processes (PSC, protests, reconciliation) required - Proficiency in Excel and Access - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Familiarity with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and CBP systems - SAP experience preferred - Spanish language skills a plus - Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) credential preferred, but not required Requirements - The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $52,000.00-$86,000.00 annually. - Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
