Key Account Manager – Construction

• You are responsible for the entire sales process in the Central Germany region – from lead generation through to closing. • You build a high-quality large accounts portfolio and develop it strategically. • You establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and opinion leaders in the construction industry – up to C-level. • You translate our global sales strategy to the regional market and implement it locally. • You provide regular insights into market developments – including competitors, customer feedback, pipeline and metrics – and keep the internal team informed.

Job Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or university degree, ideally in business, engineering or construction
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, ideally as a Key Account Manager in the construction or building materials industry
  • Solid network of relevant decision-makers within the construction and/or building materials sector
  • Strong hunter mentality and proven track record in building and developing strategic key accounts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a strong closing orientation, including at C-level
  • Confident, professional appearance with a clear customer and results focus
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style in dynamic and complex market environments
  • Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English
