Event Operations Lead
Boxbar Tech
Role Description We are looking for reliable, hands-on and professional Event Operations Leads to support Boxbar at live events across the United States. In this role, you will help manage Boxbar units and bar areas on site, making sure our technology is set up correctly, operating smoothly and represented to a high standard throughout the event. You will support venue teams, assist with basic troubleshooting, help keep the area clean and organized, and communicate clearly with the Boxbar team before, during and after each event. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in: - Live events - Hospitality - Stadiums - Arenas - Festivals - Beverage operations - Brand activation - Field operations - Customer-facing event work Full training will be provided, so you do not need to know our technology from day one. What matters most is that you are dependable, calm under pressure, comfortable working in busy live environments and willing to get stuck in. Key Responsibilities - Support the setup, operation and breakdown of Boxbar units at live events. - Ensure Boxbar units and bar areas are clean, organized, stocked and ready for service. - Assist with basic technical checks and first-line troubleshooting during events. - Train and support venue staff on how to use Boxbar equipment correctly. - Act as a professional on-site representative for Boxbar. - Communicate clearly with venue teams, event partners and Boxbar management. - Monitor the performance of the units during the event and escalate issues quickly. - Support customer service and guest experience where required. - Help maintain safe, tidy and compliant working areas throughout the event. - Assist with loading, unloading, equipment movement and post-event clean down. - Complete simple post-event reports and feedback forms. - Follow all Boxbar operating procedures, venue policies and health and safety requirements. - Support wider event delivery activity where needed. Requirements - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. - Must be able to work event-based shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. - Must be able to travel to event sites as required. - Must be comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods, lifting, moving equipment and supporting setup/breakdown. - Must be able to follow venue rules, safety procedures and Boxbar operating standards. - Access to reliable transportation is preferred. - Alcohol service certification may be required depending on the state, venue and event. Pay and Expenses - This is an hourly, event-based role paid at $20–$25 per hour, depending on location and experience. - Approved business travel and event-related expenses will be reimbursed in line with Boxbar's expenses policy.
