Role Description We are looking for reliable, hands-on and professional Event Operations Leads to support Boxbar at live events across the United States. In this role, you will help manage Boxbar units and bar areas on site, making sure our technology is set up correctly, operating smoothly and represented to a high standard throughout the event. You will support venue teams, assist with basic troubleshooting, help keep the area clean and organized, and communicate clearly with the Boxbar team before, during and after each event. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in: - Live events - Hospitality - Stadiums - Arenas - Festivals - Beverage operations - Brand activation - Field operations - Customer-facing event work Full training will be provided, so you do not need to know our technology from day one. What matters most is that you are dependable, calm under pressure, comfortable working in busy live environments and willing to get stuck in. Key Responsibilities - Support the setup, operation and breakdown of Boxbar units at live events. - Ensure Boxbar units and bar areas are clean, organized, stocked and ready for service. - Assist with basic technical checks and first-line troubleshooting during events. - Train and support venue staff on how to use Boxbar equipment correctly. - Act as a professional on-site representative for Boxbar. - Communicate clearly with venue teams, event partners and Boxbar management. - Monitor the performance of the units during the event and escalate issues quickly. - Support customer service and guest experience where required. - Help maintain safe, tidy and compliant working areas throughout the event. - Assist with loading, unloading, equipment movement and post-event clean down. - Complete simple post-event reports and feedback forms. - Follow all Boxbar operating procedures, venue policies and health and safety requirements. - Support wider event delivery activity where needed. Qualifications - Reliable, punctual and professional. - Confident working in busy, high-pressure live event environments. - Practical, hands-on and comfortable with physical work. - Calm, solution-focused and able to think clearly when things change quickly. - Comfortable speaking with venue teams, bar teams, clients and customers. - Able to follow processes and escalate issues when needed. - Flexible around evenings, weekends, holidays and event schedules. - Comfortable working on your feet for long periods. - Interested in events, hospitality, sport, music, venues, technology or beverage service. - Motivated by being part of a fast-growing international technology company. Experience We'd Love to See - Live events, festivals, stadiums, arenas or large venues. - Bar operations, beverage service, hospitality or catering. - Event supervision, team leading or shift leadership. - Brand ambassador, promotional or field marketing work. - Field operations, installations or hands-on technical support. - Customer service in fast-paced environments. - Draft beer, beverage dispense, cellar or bar equipment experience. - Working with technology, hardware or operational equipment. - Completing event reports, handover notes or shift summaries. Requirements - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. - Must be able to work event-based shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. - Must be able to travel to event sites as required. - Must be comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods, lifting, moving equipment and supporting setup/breakdown. - Must be able to follow venue rules, safety procedures and Boxbar operating standards. - Access to reliable transportation is preferred. - Alcohol service certification may be required depending on the state, venue and event. Pay and Expenses - This is an hourly, event-based role paid at $20–$25 per hour, depending on location and experience. - Approved business travel and event-related expenses will be reimbursed in line with Boxbar's expenses policy. Training - Full training will be provided, including: - Boxbar product and equipment training. - Setup and breakdown process. - On-site operating standards. - Basic troubleshooting. - Guest and venue team support. - Health, safety and event compliance expectations. - Event reporting and escalation process. - Field-based training at live events. • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the US events, venues, sports, hospitality and entertainment sectors. • Build relationships with senior decision-makers, including venue operators, event owners, hospitality groups, promoters, concessionaires, sports organizations and strategic partners. • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial conversations through to proposal, negotiation and close. • Create a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across priority sectors and regions. • Build a clear understanding of customer needs, commercial drivers, buying processes and decision-making structures. • Help Boxbar understand the strongest routes to market in the US. • Research and map target accounts across venues, arenas, stadiums, festivals, live events, hospitality groups and relevant partner organizations. • Identify where Boxbar can deliver the strongest commercial and operational value. • Share market insight with the leadership team to support US growth decisions. • Help refine Boxbar’s US messaging, sales materials, proposal approach and customer pitch. • Produce clear, compelling and commercially sound proposals for prospective customers and partners. • Build ROI-led business cases that show how Boxbar can improve service speed, customer experience, operational efficiency and revenue performance. • Work with internal teams to ensure proposals are realistic, deliverable and commercially viable. • Support contract discussions, pricing conversations and commercial negotiations. • Maintain momentum throughout the sales process and ensure opportunities are followed up properly. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records. • Track opportunities, next steps, stakeholders, deal value, probability and expected close dates. • Provide clear updates on pipeline, priorities, risks and progress. • Help create a more structured and repeatable sales approach for the US market. • Use data and feedback to improve targeting, messaging and conversion. • Work closely with UK leadership, operations, finance, marketing, product and technical teams. • Communicate customer expectations, timelines, operational requirements and commercial commitments clearly. • Provide feedback from customers and prospects to help improve Boxbar’s proposition. • Represent Boxbar at client meetings, trade shows, conferences, industry events and live activations.
Technical Project Manager - Fit Out & Installations

Role Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to support us through a busy period of delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering bespoke installation projects across stadiums and arenas throughout the UK. - Manage projects end-to-end, from initial scoping of new projects to on-site delivery and handover. - Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. - This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, innovative environment, offering the opportunity to work on unique, high-profile installations. - Regular travel across the UK will be required. Objectives of this role - Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of fit-out and installation projects from initiation through to completion. - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and clients. - Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure efficient delivery. - Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and smooth project execution. - Review and coordinate technical drawings, layouts, and specifications. - Manage procurement activities, including contractor selection and coordination. - Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Conduct site visits to oversee installation progress and ensure quality standards are met. - Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and relevant industry standards. - Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Your tasks - Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and scopes of work. - Attend client sites to carry out project surveys, assess installation requirements, and create detailed scope of work documentation. - Coordinate contractors and subcontractors during installation phases. - Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Manage on-site activities within live environments such as stadiums and arenas. - Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track. - Manage project documentation, including scopes, drawings, and change requests. - Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all parties. - Ensure installations meet quality, safety, and operational requirements. - Support continuous improvement by reviewing completed projects and identifying learnings. Qualifications - 3+ years' experience in project management within fit-out, construction, or installation environments. - Proven experience managing contractors and delivering physical build or installation projects. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. - Strong organisational and project management skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to travel regularly across the UK. - Good understanding of health & safety practices within construction or site-based environments. - Knowledge of H&S in a construction environment. Preferred skills and qualifications - Experience delivering projects within stadiums, arenas, hospitality, or live environments. - Knowledge of construction contracts and basic commercial awareness. - Experience working with bespoke or technically integrated installations. - Familiarity with project management tools and software. - Background in construction, engineering, or a related field. - Interest in innovative technology or experiential installations.
