Junior Recruiter

Significance

• Support full lifecycle recruiting efforts across a variety of positions supporting both federal civilian and DoD customers • Own full lifecycle recruiting activities for cleared and uncleared positions • Source candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and internal database (ATS) • Typically manage 4-6 active requisitions, with flexibility to support additional hiring needs tied to new federal contract awards of varying size • Support consistent sourcing activity each week to ensure healthy pipeline generation for priority roles • Conduct initial recruiter screens to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams • Maintain accurate and timely data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by ensuring all candidate information, workflows, and documentation is up to date and accurate • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through consistent communication and follow-through • Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, networking and other talent-focused initiatives

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of recruiting or staffing experience
  • Previous experience supporting government contracting or technical recruiting
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple open requisitions and recruiting activities in a fast-paced federal consulting environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to effectively prioritize a high volume of recruiting activity
  • Proficiency with using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to source candidates, manage recruiting activity and build and maintain candidate pipelines
  • Ability to utilize creative sourcing strategies and search techniques, including Boolean searches
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay proactive, maintain attention to detail, and follow through on recruiting activities and candidate communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience
