Truck Sales Regional Manager

RIDE Coach and Bus

Role Description RIDE is currently driving an exciting transformation in the transportation industry, and we are recruiting a passionate and experienced sales manager to help us pave the road through the development and execution of truck sales targets. You will be a member of RIDE truck team and play a key role in creating RIDE EV truck history in the US market. Qualifications - Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales - Prior experience in Class 6 ~ Class 8 truck sales or electric vehicle (EV) truck sales preferred - Spanish language proficiency is a plus Requirements - Expand existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and build a strong account portfolio across the Western and Southwestern United States (mainly west coast, but territories may be adjusted based on market conditions and organizational needs) - Grow business with port customers, fleet management companies (FMCs), large enterprises, and customers specializing in distribution centers, terminals, and refuse truck operations - Develop, direct, and execute regional sales plans and strategies to improve profitability and service levels throughout the assigned territory - Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, with or without company demonstration trucks - Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals - Lead contract negotiations with prospective and existing customers - Support the development of pricing strategies, including quotes, promotions, and negotiations - Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports - Analyze sales data and market trends to assess sales potential, customer preferences, and inventory requirements - Manage and participate in regional meetings, industry associations, and customer events - Maintain strong knowledge of the EV truck market, including OEMs, incentives, and industry trends - Attend meetings with vendors and suppliers to support sales and market initiatives - Represent the company at trade association meetings, conferences, and expos to promote products and services Benefits - Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development - Workplace culture grounded in respect, integrity, openness, inclusion, and support Work Location - Remote: base in NJ or NY - Territory: ME, NY, PA, VA, WV, RI, CT, NH, MA, MD, VT, JH, DE, DC Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
