District Sales Manager – Mining
DuBois Chemicals, Inc.
• Develop new sales leads and grow business, independently and with Distributor • Manage customer business relationships in the sales region which includes but not limited to Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Iqualiut • Work closely with DuBois Technical Service Representatives and customer operations personnel to solve customer problems, install and repair application systems and support chemical applications with customers • Report to the Mining Sector Business Director
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Engineering Technology is preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in heavy industry or manufacturing
- Valid driver’s license required
- Knowledge of chemical application systems is required
- Ability to manage complex, large customer accounts independently, as well as distributor relationships
- Hands-on ability to repair, install and troubleshoot application systems is required
- Previous sales training is required
- Strong communication skills – ability to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
- Programming logic for application systems is a strong benefit
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work outdoors year-round at customer sites
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and industry personnel.
