Job Description

Director, Navigation Client Channel Leader

Alight Solutions

• Managing the overall client retention, satisfaction and growth of all clients under the assigned strategic channel. • Serving as an advisor to employers, consultants, and partnering under the assigned strategic channel. • Recommending and executing best practices of Alight services, while interacting and gaining trust of individuals at all levels of client organization. • Demonstrating expert knowledge of Alight offering by providing strategic development, execution, and problem solving to define concrete solutions. • Increasing and maintaining engagement rates in the Alight services and to ensure attainment of ROI Guarantees where applicable. • Developing and executing renewal strategies, including packaging, presenting, and negotiating to retain clients. • Leading pre-renewal internal strategy meetings and collaborates with Alight enterprise leaders on multi-product and service client renewals. • Managing and delivering regular updates of the assigned channel to key stakeholders internally and externally. • Overseeing a team of Client Leaders, handling performance reviews, compensation processes, and supervisory duties to ensure successful relationship management. • Provide coaching and mentorship to promote best practices, support business goals, and represent the Navigation team internally. • Owning development and execution of compelling business cases and support comprehensive reporting to clients and broker/consultant partners. • Partnering with other Directors to create the annual business review template. • Assisting Client Leaders in key client annual business review meetings with clients assigned channel to review performance. • Managing client concerns by coordinating involvement of internal resources to maintain satisfaction, retention, and client performance goals. • Providing creative solutions to client problems that support ROI/VOI/performance-based initiatives. • Assisting in the new business process to help position Client Delivery during the sales process.

Job Requirements

  • Ten+ years of individual success in account management/client success within either a carrier, consulting/brokerage firm or healthcare vendor.
  • Display successful track record managing client relationships and large (10,000 or more lives) employer accounts.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and develop financial projections/P&L, as well as other performance metrics.
  • Possess solid organizational, management, administrative and human relations skills in a style which exhibits maturity, leadership, sensitivity, and teamwork.
  • Have higher-caliber negotiation and leveraging skills.
  • Must be persuasive and tactful when negotiating and dealing with consultants/brokers, team members, peers, and superiors.
  • Demonstrate success meeting goals/targets and managing a complex book of business.
  • Possess ability to facilitate and guide strategic planning discussions to help the client define key objectives.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to actively listen, inquire, clarify, and translate strategic discussion into a concise, measurable plan of action.
