Role Description We are currently seeking a Project Manager to plan and manage projects to ensure that all contractual commitments are met on time and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will use your interpersonal and leadership skills and must have an understanding of project financials to determine the necessary resources required for successful project execution. In addition, you will provide leadership to a multi-disciplined team, monitor project performance, and forecast revenue. Duties and Responsibilities - Negotiate, develop, monitor, and control the scope of deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages. - Develop a detailed work plan for all architectural and engineering disciplines, allocate hours to the work plan, and monitor project progress. - Lead an integrated team of architects and engineers in the quality assurance and quality control procedures for all deliverables, specifically the construction drawings and specifications. - Maintain a good understanding of the project scope and when changes to the scope occur, negotiate solutions to ensure outcomes meet client expectations and contractual obligations. - Coordinate with contractor, sub-consultants, or relevant building authorities to address and document issues with constructability or owner concerns. - Act as the primary liaison with the client, contractor, and project team and ensure close client relationships are maintained. Qualifications - Architectural or engineering systems design and presentation, M&E and structural building systems, permit and building code. - Registered with a relevant professional association is an asset. - Experience in strategic development, business development, project management, and client management is required. - Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resourcefulness. - A strong understanding of project accounting is required in order to monitor project performance and forecast revenue. Requirements - 10-15 years of project work experience. - Experience in health care projects. In this role, you will implement complex community, public and media relations strategies with a strong focus on graphic design and video content development. You will drive impactful visual storytelling through video production and editing, print and digital graphic design projects and social media initiatives that advance the core mission of ADOA. Acting as a key collaborative partner, you will deliver high-quality, creative content that supports statewide public affairs goals and provides critical media and communication support to the Arizona Governor's Office when needed. Job Duties - Graphic Design Leadership: Serve as the team’s primary graphic designer, conducting photo research and creating high-impact visual assets including social media graphics, thumbnails, infographics, comprehensive reports, and custom video/motion graphics. - Comprehensive Video Production: Plan and execute video production tasks, including shooting/reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, logging, assembling rough cuts, adjusting audio, correcting color, and integrating B-roll, photographs, motion graphics, animation, and music into polished final edits. - Multimedia Storytelling & Content Creation: Partner with the Deputy Assistant Director for Communications to brainstorm and publish compelling multimedia stories about ADOA, the State of Arizona, and the Arizona Governor's Office across social media, web platforms, and email distribution channels. - On-Location Video Production: Coordinate with ADOA’s video production project manager to execute professional on-site and on-location video shoots, managing camera operations, audio setups, talent direction, lighting, multi-location logistics, and custom motion graphics. - Pre-Production & Scriptwriting: Scout filming locations to proactively identify and resolve potential production obstacles, write engaging interview scripts, develop detailed storyboards, and generate innovative project ideas for the Communications team. - Interview Execution: Conduct professional interviews with agency staff and external stakeholders under general direction, ensuring high-quality, impactful sound bites are captured effectively. - Asset & Platform Management: Manage and optimize the agency's YouTube channels, upload final video products in various formats, track and report on viewer statistics, and ensure strict adherence to established brand standards. - Operations & Archiving: Maintain an accurate production schedule and equipment inventory while organizing, archiving, and managing all digital photo and video asset folders for long-term accessibility. Qualifications - Knowledge of basic principles of videography, photography, graphic design and composition techniques. - Knowledge of journalism and storytelling principles. - Proficient in the Adobe Creative suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. - Basic knowledge of website content production and social media platforms. - Understanding of state government and department organizational structure.
