Role Description We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Account Manager to accelerate growth across the Southeastern United States. This is an ideal opportunity for a true sales hunter who thrives on identifying opportunities, opening new doors, and building long-term customer partnerships. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding Quadra’s presence and growing market share within the territory. Leveraging your industry expertise, network, and consultative selling approach, you will develop new business opportunities while managing and growing key customer relationships. If you're motivated by winning new business, building a territory, and making a direct impact on growth, we want to hear from you. - Drive territory growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships. - Build strong partnerships with key decision-makers and influencers, becoming a trusted advisor to your customers. - Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets. - Conduct regular customer visits, joint sales calls, and participate in industry events to promote Quadra’s industry-leading product portfolio. - Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing. - Leverage Quadra’s internal expertise and resources to deliver exceptional customer service and tailored solutions. - Support customers with technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and optimization opportunities. - Maintain an active pipeline, manage sales activities effectively, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting. - Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, maximizing time in front of customers and pursuing growth opportunities across the territory. Qualifications - Proven ability to hunt for new business and consistently deliver results. - Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. - Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities. - Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to exceed goals. - Curious, technically minded, and passionate about the industry. - Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. - Tenacious, customer-focused, and energized by building long-term partnerships and winning new business. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or Commerce (or equivalent). - 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or specialty ingredients industry. - Strong background in ingredient or chemical distribution (required). - Proven success in new business development, prospecting, negotiation, and closing complex sales. - Deep understanding of nutraceutical/pharma ingredients, including applications, market trends, and regulatory environment. - Exposure to product formulation or chemistry background considered an asset. - Established industry network and credibility within the sector. - Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, uncover opportunities, and deliver tailored, value-based solutions. - Strong track record of sales growth, territory expansion, and customer retention. - Experience working with structured KPIs and consistently meeting or exceeding targets. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills throughout the sales cycle. - Comfortable working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Willingness to travel up to 50% (Canada, USA, and occasional international travel), including overnight trips. - Valid driver’s license and passport required.
