Senior Manager, Implementation

• Own the end-to-end implementation strategy for new customer deployments across multiple products, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing implementation team of experienced professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. • Partner with customer executives and internal stakeholders to define success metrics and ensure business objectives are met. • Develop repeatable implementation frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that scale with SmarterDx’s growth. • Proactively identify risks and challenges in client rollouts, creating mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into actionable feedback. • Oversee cross-functional alignment with Customer Success, Sales, and Clinical teams to deliver a seamless client experience. • Report on implementation performance, capacity, and client outcomes to company leadership. • Champion continuous improvement by analyzing process efficiency and driving operational excellence.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology implementation, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (responsible for high impact portfolios, large teams, or both).
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale SaaS or healthcare IT implementations with large hospital systems.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, clinical workflows, and hospital operations, with deep experience in coding workflows, claim automation, or revenue cycle optimization.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Executive presence and ability to engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders at health systems.
- Strong program management expertise, with experience building scalable processes across multiple clients and familiarity with project management standards and tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to query, transform, and use data to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
- Hands-on experience managing implementations which involve Epic or Cerner, preferably with the ability to speak to managing HL7, APIs, and database extracts.
- Prior startup or high-growth company experience, with experience balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
- Technical enough to dig into SQL databases, build dashboards, and leverage GUI-based automation software to automate workflows.
