• Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers in the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems using engineering software, including support to lead engineers. • Apply engineering principles and engineering codes & standards, such as ASME and ANSI, to the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems. • Resolve technical issues for operating nuclear power plants, new plants (e.g., AP1000, eVinci), and other nuclear projects (e.g., fuel fabrication facilities). • Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results in accordance with ASME Section III code requirements and other international codes. • Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements. • Identify and help develop new business opportunities, as available. • Lead complex and resolution. • Mentor more junior engineers.

• Design and develop large-scale mechanical systems for water infrastructure projects • Create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit or other mechanical design software for use in design drawings • Size and select hoists, actuators and associated waterworks mechanical systems • Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and mechanical performance according to industry standards and specifications • Review and approve engineering drawings and vendor submittals • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Civil, Structural, and Electrical Engineers • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation • Support proposal development by providing technical input • Ability to travel a few times a year for site visits and meetings with clients

Role Description The Senior Design Engineer supports engineering, drafting, and field activities while developing practical experience in CanFAb systems and processes. They assist in field engineering activities as well as support production design, product drawing, and project management activities. The Senior Design Engineer has the responsibility to conduct field/on-site measurements and assessments and complete related project drawings such that drawings can be used to design, order/manufacture, and install completed solutions. The position will also be responsible for partnering with Project Management staff to ensure proper completion and installation of projects. The Senior Design Engineer will also assist the Manufacturing team with conversion of field drawings to production drawings and installation drawings. The position will support other activities as requested, generally related but not limited to engineering, design, and drawing. • Be an equipment systems expert, provide the required support for the field sales force to correctly specify, install, and run equipment systems. • Provide on-site scope out, design and install of feed equipment at customer sites. • Manage Equipment Project Requests within product line areas. • Use the GEER/AFE process to ensure that projects are properly approved. • Manage the field equipment capital asset pool to minimize idle assets. • Facilitate design recommendations and ensure the low-cost path to procure. • Support field sales interface with the equipment acquisition process. • Product Management - maintain an equipment product line for sale to customers. • Support qualification of vendors for outsourced construction • Product Development - Facilitate the design and support of equipment systems to improve our equipment offerings and support our product launch efforts. • Provide technology transfer through training and technical information to help improve the understanding of equipment technology.
