Role Description Our client in the UK is looking for a creative and fast-moving Junior Video Editor with a strong social-first mindset to help create engaging short-form content across social media platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who spends time on social media, understands current trends, and can quickly turn raw footage into attention-grabbing content. - Edit high volumes of short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. - Add captions, graphics, transitions, music, and effects to increase engagement. - Repurpose existing content into multiple social media formats. - Stay up to date with social media trends, editing styles, and viral content formats. - Work efficiently to deliver content on tight deadlines. Qualifications - Experience editing short-form social media videos. - Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. - Ability to edit quickly while maintaining quality. - Good eye for pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement. - Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. - Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently. Ideal Candidate - Early-career or junior-level editor looking to grow their skills. - Passionate about social media and content creation. - Naturally follows online trends and understands what performs well on social platforms. - Comfortable producing a high volume of content each week.
