Territory Sales Manager
Victaulic
• Learn about Victaulic’s products and how we can provide solutions for customers. • Understand competitive joining methods, construction cycles, and keep current with market trends. • Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan and sales strategies. • Execute all phases of project pursuit from inception to after-sale follow up. • Build lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners. • Spend time with customers, maintaining relationships through dinners and social events. • Educate customers about the value of Victaulic products and influence decision makers.
Job Requirements
- We prefer you have a bachelor’s degree walking in the door!
- Previous sales experience selling “value added” products/services; preferably related to the commercial construction industry, PVF industry (pipes, valves, fittings) or mechanical products.
- Having demonstrated achievements in sales and a history of developing and nurturing long standing relationships.
- Possessing a competitive nature and showing both flexibility and resiliency.
- Self-motivated and self-driven to achieve success with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to be resourceful, and the ability to exercise creative thinking.
- Strong organization and time management skills, as well as solid project management skills.
- Willingness to travel; some territories require heavier overnight travel than others.
