Field Sales Representative – Business Partner

• Continuously inform and provide expert advice to hairdressers and their salon teams based on individual customer needs, within Wella guidelines • Sell our products and service concepts through persuasive presentation and argumentation • Conduct sales negotiations while considering prescribed terms, budgets and promotions to achieve district sales and distribution targets, and to create added value for our customers • Identify sales potential and additional needs of assigned salon customers • Prepare proposals and solutions for salon management/salon development opportunities to increase sales within the allotted scope • Propose customer-specific promotions planned independently and ensure their implementation • Advise customers on financing options to support customer retention in line with applicable guidelines and in close coordination with your manager • Sell and broker services and professional seminars based on the hairdressing service seminar concept • Implement market development measures agreed with your manager (e.g., monthly promotions), business planning, target tracking and sales forecasting • Identify potential new customers and actively acquire them • Conduct annual development meetings with customers, including closing annual purchasing agreements and depot contracts • Advise customers on promotional materials, product shelf placement, secondary placements and sales aids such as counter displays and product presenters • Attend customer events and hairdressing service trainings to strengthen customer relationships and foster personal professional development • Support customers with questions and problems, communicate with internal and external experts to resolve issues or facilitate contacts

Job Requirements

  • Completed three-year vocational training (commercial training; hairdresser training advantageous)
  • Initial professional experience (2–3 years) in customer-facing roles and/or sales
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to act effectively and sustainably
  • Above-average willingness to learn and deliver results
  • Organizational skills, quick responsiveness and high flexibility
  • Team player
  • Initiative and ability to work and make decisions independently on site (at the customer)
  • High service and customer focus
  • Analytical thinking
  • Confident use of MS Office and digital media such as an iPad
  • Valid driver's license (car)
  • Very good written and spoken German and good conversational English
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work and organize effectively and sustainably
  • High self-motivation
  • Enjoy selling luxury and beauty products and a strong drive to succeed
