Solutions Engineer, LATAM

Telnyx

• Partner with the LATAM sales team to own the technical side of customer opportunities from discovery through close • Lead technical discovery to understand customer requirements, current architecture, pain points, and business goals • Recommend integration strategies, solution architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure using Telnyx products • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept support • Explain Telnyx products across Voice, SIP Trunking, Messaging, Wireless/IoT, Networking, Storage, AI, and Voice AI • Help customers evaluate Telnyx APIs, network capabilities, and communications infrastructure • Identify technical objections and work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to resolve blockers • Support customer and partner integrations in real-world environments • Build lightweight prototypes or demos that show how Telnyx products can solve customer problems • Maintain deep knowledge of Telnyx's existing and future products • Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing technical feedback with Product and Engineering teams • Support customer meetings, partner conversations, trade shows, and regional events as needed

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Consulting, Support Engineering, or Technical Architecture
  • Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, telecom infrastructure, networking, contact center technology, cloud platforms, APIs, or related technologies
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans
  • Strong presentation and demo skills
  • Experience working with sales teams during technical discovery, evaluation, POC, and closing stages
  • Hands-on technical curiosity and comfort learning new products quickly
  • Business acumen and ability to connect technical value to customer outcomes
  • Fluency in English plus Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Mexico City, Mexico, with ability to support LATAM customers and travel as needed.
