Role Description As a full-stack engineer, you work across the whole gift card product: the screens customers use and the services running behind them. Day to day, you will: - Own features from discovery to production: Partner directly with other teams to scope ideas, design architectures, and ship features - collaborating closely with senior peers while leveraging AI tools to iterate with extreme speed. - Build and refine the gift card experience, from buying a card to redeeming it. - Develop the back-end that powers it: APIs, services, and data models. - Work on the partner side too, the B2B self-serve product and the embeddable widgets that let other companies plug Joy_ in. - Keep the codebase healthy, with shared components, design tokens, sensible tests, and an eye on performance and accessibility. Qualifications - 3+ years building modern web products, full-stack. - Genuinely comfortable on both the front-end and the back-end. - A deep sense of product ownership. - An exceptional teammate. - An elite execution mindset. - A real eye for detail. - You think in systems. - A pragmatic approach to quality. - Excellent spoken and written English. • Work with vague or high-level requirements, identifying the real problem and translating it into clear technical solutions; • Assess risks, analyze trade-offs, define technical approaches, and justify decisions as needed; • Build, deliver, and maintain solutions in production environments, ensuring stability and scalability; • Handle production support, including debugging, incident resolution, and performance improvements; • Develop backend solutions predominantly using Python (60–70%) while contributing to frontend development using React.js (30–40%); • Integrate AI capabilities into production systems, addressing orchestration, high-demand workloads, and scalability challenges; • Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, and product/business stakeholders to define and evolve solutions;

• Build, consume, document, and integrate APIs in a development, test and production environment supporting the Credit Union’s Software Platform (on premise and cloud) • Development of Widgets and Micro services for Online banking SDK Development • Development of functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end • Participate in agile ceremonies • Follow requirements to create solutions • Assists with documentation of code and development processes • Development of applications on web-based platforms • Development of application using Latest AI technologies is desirable • Familiar in latest software development technology • Familiar in project source control technology • Knowledge of security and encryption protocols • Follow standardized methods and procedures used for efficient and prompt handling of all development requests • Adhere to all regulatory compliance training inclusive of BSA/AML/OFAC and overall BSA/AML/OFAC compliance • Participate in monthly on-call rotation • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned • Written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate with other members of the team
