• Mentor on testing practices, tools, and concepts, participate in refactoring, and support the QA team in building complex, automated test scenarios; • Oversee project roll-out processes, identify and resolve issues, and in critical situations take the lead in guiding the team; • Identify security vulnerabilities arising from the development process (or otherwise), support their remediation, and produce documentation mapping the identified issues; • Have strong knowledge of architectural models and practices and, when necessary, support the architecture team in validating and designing solutions; • Maintain a holistic view of the project and assist the team in breaking down tasks and clarifying requirements to improve delivery efficiency; • Monitor and analyze the team's metrics, suggest changes to planning processes, and support alignment activities; • Document and demonstrate solutions by producing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code; • Ensure that the solution being developed meets client needs and applies industry best practices.

• Database design and development • Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architectures • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps teams and product teams to ensure efficient deliveries • Implement database solutions (SQL/NoSQL) and optimize queries for high-volume processing • Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD and security • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture design

• Design and architect scalable, highly available database solutions for complex systems • Be responsible for performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning for large data volumes • Lead database reliability strategies, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans • Diagnose and resolve complex production incidents and performance bottlenecks • Implement and enforce database security practices, access control, encryption, and compliance • Collaborate with application, platform, and DevOps teams on system design and releases • Lead migrations, upgrades, and database modernization initiatives • Automate database operations using scripts and infrastructure-as-code practices • Review database designs and provide technical guidance to engineers • Maintain operational documentation, standards, and best practices

• Design and implement data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using modern tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, DBT, Dataflow); • Integrate data from transactional systems, APIs, and relational and non-relational databases; • Create and maintain optimized data structures in analytical environments (data lakes and data warehouses); • Ensure data governance, data quality, and data cataloging; • Automate routines for data extraction, transformation, and loading; • Support data scientists, analysts, and product squads with reliable, well-modeled data; • Participate in modernization and data migration projects to the cloud; • Monitor and resolve failures in pipelines and other critical data processes.
