Role Description We are currently looking for a GNC Engineer III/IV to join our software and flight test group in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in designing, analyzing, and building flight controls software for UAS. You will work closely with the engineering team to: - Design, analyze, and build flight controls software for groups 1 to 4 UAS - Develop software components for deployment to flight test - Create and modify software modules in the Zone 5 avionics suite - Perform controls analysis to assess stability and performance - Run high-fidelity SW and HW in the loop simulations - Generate auto-code for embedded systems - Design ground tests to verify the function of new features - Support integration and test of aircraft for flight test - Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of experience in flight controls engineering for UAS - Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink - Strong problem-solving skills - Effective communication and collaboration skills Requirements - Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field (preferred) - Experience with Group 1-4 UAS flight controls software design (preferred) - Knowledge of embedded systems and auto-code generation (preferred) - Ability to mentor and train junior engineers (preferred) Benefits - Competitive total compensation package - Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more - 401k with company-match - 4 weeks of paid time off each year - 12 annual company holidays

• Collaborating with the Strategic Account Sales Managers (SAMs) and Strategic Customers to understand the Critical to Quality (CTQ) factors essential for growth. • Organizing and lead deal strategy and pricing discussions with internal stakeholders. • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions tailored to market segment needs by leveraging ABB Electrification's comprehensive product and solution portfolio. • Proactively suggest alternatives and options that reduce costs, enhance customer value, and increase project profitability. • Evaluating and understanding project risk triggers (financial, commercial, & technical) to ensure the overall project risk profile aligns with ABB standards. • Initiate risk reviews with leadership and serve as the primary contact for the risk manager when necessary.

• Lead RF planning, optimization, and performance improvement across GSM, LTE, and 5G networks in LATAM. • Own analysis and improvement of network KPIs including accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, and capacity utilization. • Support RAN modernization, swap, and transformation projects across planning, integration, optimization, and acceptance phases. • Conduct troubleshooting using network statistics, drive test data, and signaling analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions. • Partner with customers and internal teams to align priorities, communicate risks, and ensure strong delivery outcomes. • Present technical findings, recommendations, and progress updates clearly to customer and internal stakeholders. • Contribute to technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices as the organization scales.

• Provide advanced-level support for Microsoft-based technologies, including but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Server, Exchange Online, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365, Intune, and Azure. • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, assess their IT infrastructure needs, and design and implement appropriate Microsoft solutions. • Architect, implement and maintain Microsoft solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and security of client environments. • Lead and participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of complex server and network-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. • Perform advanced Microsoft system maintenance tasks, including patch management, backups, and disaster recovery planning. • Implement and enforce security measures to protect client’s Microsoft systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. • Lead and participate in IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated Microsoft solutions within agreed timelines and budgets. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, assisting in their professional development. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
