Job Description

Senior RF Optimization Engineer

Parallel Wireless

• Lead RF planning, optimization, and performance improvement across GSM, LTE, and 5G networks in LATAM. • Own analysis and improvement of network KPIs including accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, and capacity utilization. • Support RAN modernization, swap, and transformation projects across planning, integration, optimization, and acceptance phases. • Conduct troubleshooting using network statistics, drive test data, and signaling analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions. • Partner with customers and internal teams to align priorities, communicate risks, and ensure strong delivery outcomes. • Present technical findings, recommendations, and progress updates clearly to customer and internal stakeholders. • Contribute to technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices as the organization scales.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in wireless telecommunications and radio network engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience in GSM, LTE, and 5G network optimization, including VoLTE optimization.
  • Proven experience working in multi-vendor RAN environments and delivering RAN swap, modernization, or transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of radio access network technologies, RF optimization methodologies, mobility management, throughput improvement, and signaling analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as XCAL, TEMS, Actix, QXDM, Wireshark, and related analysis platforms.
  • Understanding of LTE and 5G network architecture and protocols; experience with Open RAN, Cloud RAN, or vRAN is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills in customer-facing environments.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal; experience with Huawei network equipment is highly desirable.
