Job Description: This is an unlimited part-time position with a guaranteed 80% workload. DUTIES: Activities related to college teaching and learning in the field of Human Services, including but not limited to the duties listed below: - Instructional planning, facilitation, teaching and learning, - Assessment of student performance, - Student recruitment, retention and advising, - Lab/classroom climate management, - Maintenance of professional skills and credentials, - Participation in college activities, - Work closely with department to maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes. Salary Range: $43,067 - $98,660 Minimum Qualifications: Educational Requirement: - Master's degree with a major in human services, social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or human development OR - Master's degree with a minimum of 16 graduate semester credits (24 graduate quarter credits) in human services, social work, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology OR - Master's degree with a major in sociology or counseling with 10 graduate semester credits (15 graduate quarter credits) in human services. Occupational Experience Requirement - Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in human services, social work, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology. Recency Requirement - One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Preferred Qualification: - Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college. - Dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards. - Commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that will help students reach their education goals. - Experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles. - Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. - Knowledge and experience in the use of instructional technology, including online course delivery and classroom presentation technologies. - Ability to work independently, while also functioning in a team atmosphere.
